We use the restaurant and it is the best food in brum by far. Staff are always friendly and Sam is very helpful, been using the same resturaunt now for 15 years!

we visited this restaurant on recommendation from some friends who live in germany! It was our first visit and surely won't be the last. The restaurant really is of the highest standard. The food we tasted is surely the best Indian food we have tasted in the 20 years of eating indian food. service was great. the whole team made us feel welcome even though they were choc-a-bloc. food came out hot, fresh and with no delay. we sat two tables away from frank lampard ( chelsea & england footballer). Cant wait to go back! decently priced. five stars to them. excellent!

I have been using this restaurant for the past 25 years. I have always been pleased with the service and the food is excellent. I again visited today (8th July 2009) and as expected the food and service was good. However, for the first time I ordered an ice cream (a pina colada), which I was enjoying until a large piece of glass cut my tongue and which I nearly choked on. The waiter seemed very concerned and I was not charged for the dessert. I was also given a free large glass of wine. The Dilshad needs to make the outside suppliers aware of this, which they said they would.

My boyfriend and I visit this restaurant on a regular basis and it's fantastic every time. Huge pieces of breast meat (not suspicious/measly chunks!)every meal we have sampled has been fresh and really tasty, I can particularly recommend the Kurma!!. Huge Naans and lovely menu. Don't be put off by the slightly dated decor...I think it keeps the cost down!

The food was very tasty and unique, every curry tasted different and fresh. The service was professional and very friendly, along with a pleasant atmosphere. Well worth what we paid. Will most definitely visit again!!

The curry was superior to many that have been tried elsewhere. Never tasted a curry that good before. Surroundings very intimate and the service was second to none. Highly recommended, unless the situation has changed recently.
