Clearly some of these reviewers have never eaten proper Italian food! Main courses were more like a 2for £8 joint! Sure the free olives were nice but what's the point when the chef can't even do a pepper source properly.

I went to this restaurant last Monday night with my wife and two sons. We were made very welcome by an Irish waiter he was very nice and full off chat. He explained too us about the 2 for 1 offer been on the pizza and pasta on Monday and Tuesday. We had garlic bread and soap for starters and this took no time too come out. Then we had pasta and pizza for our main course and this was very nice and very enjoyable. This was great value for money and we will defo come back. Thanks too the waiter for making us very welcome we hope too see you all very soon agin..

Lovely Italian, been twice now and the food is delicious. Hot fresh food and excellent service. Our friends go regularly and the quality is consistent.

What a find Due Fratelli is!! Booked a family birthday dinner for 8 on a May Bank holiday and had a fabulous evening!. The restaurant feels authentic Italian, the food was superb, everyone enjoyed their choice from a vast menu of starters, main and dessert - we even had a birthday cake!. The Service was PERFECT, friendly, attentive - really couldn't ask for more - a thoroughly enjoyable evening. Thank you so much :)

I have been going to this restaurant for about 3 years now since I moved to Chorlton and I love it. Great menu with lots of choice, a very authentic Italian feel and a very relaxing atmosphere. The staff are very friendly and polite. The chef (owner) will come out into the restaurant and always say hello and have a bit chat with you which is a refreshing change from chefs just shouting at people. Keep up the good work, I love your restaurant. Highly recommend. Steve

13th January 2012. You will think of the excellent, authentic Italian food you had on your last Italian holiday when you visit this restaurant. Lots of choice of genuine Italian food on the menu. Quiet relaxing music so that you can chat to your partner. No rushing around and fussing. The out of town location made me question my choice of restaurant, but once we were through the door I was impressed. The early offer of two courses from the main menu for £8.50 impressed me even more! R. Greenhalgh.

Visited this restaurant many times and has been excellent UNTIL tonight. Menu changed - okay can deal with no steak!- but service and attitude of the one waiter was APPALLING. When we complained, he was rude and suggested that the kitchen was busy. There was only one other table occupied so busy was not really the word I would use. The food was not of the great quality experienced on past visits and they couldn't even get our order right - it really was not complicated (lamp chop and chips - instead, we got lamp chops, salad and roasted veg) Disappointing and shall not be returning

"Ten minutes later, someone banged on my home door... bit too late for an apology from a rather angry and large man!" Had a look at the last review and was happy to order from a "local" company rather than dominoes. As cheap takeaway pizza goes, this was okay. Despite ordering from their "special offer menu" got charged for the full price. When I phoned to query and ask for a refund, told that it would be taken off our next order and that no refund was possible as they were "a company". Phoned for a second time, informed them that I had spoken to my bank and discussed raising a dispute, still refused a refund and subjected to an expletive response. Ten minutes later, someone banged on my home door... bit too late for an apology from a rather angry and large man! Needless to say I would not recommend this kind of "local". One angry "brother" was more than enough.
