We have been dining here for years and every time we leave extremely happy customers!! Our last meal here was for 35 people and the manager was so helpful via email, getting the meal and requirements perfect for us. (The vegan options created for us were superb!!!!) The staff were super polite and the service and evening was amazing. Fantastic prices, incredible food (large, varied selection to choose from too) and even our tables were dressed beautifully! Thankyou Team Duk!

Stunning from start to finish, We were met by the owner (impressive) wizzing around the tables making everyone feel welcome, sat afternoon and most of the tables taken (nice to see). We ordered a selection of veg and vegan dishes and were very impressed by all of them the price was a bargin for the quality and you would be hard pushed to find better service or food anywhere, i would highly recommend and will be going back soon with fussy friends, its nice to be able to trust a place to recommend. Compliments to the chef and the lady in black.

I've now held 4 events at this venue, 2 wine tasting days, 1 beer tasting evening and 1 sherry & tapas night. The tapas are out of this world and make our events so special. The staff are very helpful, firendly and attentive. Great atmosphere too. if you love good food and a great atmoshpere then this is the place to eat in Preston!

Came here for the first time on Mother's Day, after having eaten at their sister restaurant Duk on birthday & my mother having remarked at the time how wonderful the food was. The decor here was fabulous & the food was as delicious as expected, if not more so!

My Company had its Christmas do at pond on Friday and i have to comment how impressed we all were, there was 30 of us all with different expectations and dietary needs and we were a little concerned as most restaurants can't cope with big parties, never mind us ( we get very loud) but Pond did us proud, the food service and drinks were all fabulous and the lads were very friendly and attentive, we had the chefs banquet and could not fault the quality or quantity, in fact we had to stay a while as we were so stuffed, drinks in the lounge are advisable to let your food settle and we thoroughly enjoyed some mulled wine and a hot chocolate. They were absolutely packed out and my colleague said maybe they could have been quicker with clearing the table but this did not spoil the event and too be honest we just kept picking at the food, so it was nice to take our time on reflection and the lads never stopped so they couldn't have done anymore. Thanks to all the management and staff for the best meal ever we will be back

Not been since the moved and was unsure what to expect as we loved the old venues, but i might have known the place is simply stunning the pictures on here don't do it justice, i love the courtyard area and the church bench seating opposite the bar adds a lot of character. We started our dinner with a sharing board, 5 cheeses ham and chorizo, some olives and toasted bread, you will not get better value anywhere and all were truly delicious. We washed this down with a bottle of ducks flat shiraz reasonably priced at around £18. We the moved onto a banquet created for us i believe by the boss whom was in the kitchen tweeting at the time, i say this because i follow them and my phone was going crazy with images, lets just say we were impressed to say the least, the banquet started with seabass prawns and bravas potatoes, closely followed by some steak and chicken in coconut, then a bowl of duck with plums ( fresh might i add) and topped off with greek salad and mushroom cheese dish, 6 of us in total and not one word between us until we finished and almost licked the plates, i would recommend to anyone, just had to ask for another bottle of wine, but they were busy so forgiven, we ordered 2 desserts a cheesecake and some ice cream both were lovely but we over faced ourselves they were good though, and very nicely presented, some up market restaurants should take note, will leave tummy room next time. looking forward to visiting again this time with work we booked on line yesterday and received a prompt and friendly reply, thank you to the manager to who extend our table to fit all the lovely food !

My wife and I ate at Pond on Friday night, it was the first time we had been there since it moved. having a hard time picking from the menu we decided to opt for the 'banquet for two'. at the point of ordering we were shown the banquet for 4 menu which had a good mix of basic tapas dishes and premium (steak, prawns etc) and were told that the banquet for 2 was very similar with just a few dishes less. what we got were 6 very basic dishes, with no premium ones included. when we complained about this (and were due to pay £45 for this) the manageress seemed very 'put-out'. she disappeared for 10 minutes and came back with an obviously freshly printed banquet for 2 menu which had all the dishes we had eaten on and one more. funny how they couldn't find one before we ordered. in relation to the missing dish we were asked "do you still want this?", to which we replied well we are paying for it!!! most of the food appeared to have been warmed through with varying degrees of efficiency in a microwave and i still can't get over how they can present about 25pence worth of vegetables sauteed in oil with a few herbs and tell you that it is worth between £6 and £8. nothing was inedible but the lack of value for money couldn't help but leave you with a bad taste in your mouth. Preston really needs some good eateries and this isn't helping.

Visited Pond on Monday 11 July for a graduation celebration meal having read all the good reviews. How disappointing it turned out to be Peruvian stew with chicken still looking for chicken !! had to ask for bread that is supposed to come with stew see previous comments by others along same line .Gambas pil pil nice but very few prawns bit of a let down really but they did reduce bill upon request wont hurry back
