Great news! The Emmott's now has new management. Still cheap quality drinks and food. Ideal at a time when there is a financial depression. The emmott's is a great traditional pub and well worth a visit. If your local and have never been in before then I recommend you visit especially now its got new management.

as a student you can not beat the prices at the emmott arms. However wine and spirits are tad pricey the lager is unbeatable on price!
The staff are extremely helpful and always cheer the place. They do seem to run it as the managers are never seen.
All in all a flippin' ace pub for us students and the locals are some of the funniest people you will ever meet!

The Emmotts is a really nice local pub with lots of friendly regulars, the managers are never around and the bar staff seem to run the place. The pub is in desperate need of a refurb so come on Samuel smiths sort it out please!!!! The cost of the food is quite expensive and not great but the beer and other drinks are very cheap.

This is definitley the best pub for atmosphere and food this side of the Lancashire border! It is always busy, which is unusual for a village pub
