Been a few times now and the food has been exceptional on every occasion. Especially the Bengal Cocktail sizzler for three. The staff are exceptionally friendly. Always a great inviting atmosphere. We have really enjoyed eating there with friends and and family and plan to return very soon!

Such a hospitable and charming Bangladeshi/Indian restaurant. Great fayre worth tasting and trying. Extremely satisfied and joyed to have dined there tonight. Shall definately be frequenting again. Hathora Gost a must try if you like sour dishes. Really enjoyed it.

Myself and my close nit family have been loyal customers of the Golden Bengal since the very first year they opened their doors for business some 25 years ago celebrating many occasions, birthdays even having our Christmas dinner there a few times. Such happy times! Over the years we have seen this respectable restaurant grow in strength as well as experience some tough times. We for sure are thankful to still be able to go and visit such a wonderful business run by such nice people and experience a marvelous evening out. Excellent food! Brought back some good old memories of our homely food in India. The chicken madras and the Hasim dish were gorgeous. And the naan bread I would go as far to say better than the ones I've had back home in India! Fresh and so soft. Haven't been to such a good Indian restaurant like Golden Bengal in the UK for a long time. Thankyou! We most certainly will recommend this fab restaurant to everyone.

We tried out Golden Bengal on Saturday after reading some great reviews about this restaurant. Got to say the experience was a very delightful one. We started off with some poppodums which were nice and crisp and some pickles that were different to what I've had in other places but were rather tasty and much better in fact. Ordered a chicken Sangom (off the specials board) and my friends the usual classic dishes not wanting to be brave and try something different like myself followed by some rice and naan breads. Wow!! Empty plates and dishes all round. The food was absolutely delicious and well worth every penny. Loved it all! Even the pilau rice was as aromatic and flavoursome like the food. Definately will be returning again and getting take outs as well as telling everyone how amazing the food and service is.
