If you want your tables and floors dirty, your service slow and disinterested and your food badly cooked, then this is the place to go. It was nearly empty on a Saturday night so I guess lots of other people have noticed this too.

This is not a recommendation but informing you what an awful experience we have had at the Gynn Pub, Blackpool. My wife and I and my Brother attempted to have Sunday lunch today and phoned beforehand to find out the time of serving. We were told 12pm at the latest 1pm. We arrived at 12.40pm and purchased drinks and were told that the carvery would be open from 1pm. At 1pm we asked again and were told another 10 minutes. At 1.20 we asked again and were told that it was delayed because the carrots weren't ready. At 1.45pm we were then waiting by the restaurant door and at no time did we receive an apology or any update. On us now complaining we were told "well nobody is keeping you here". We were flabergasted by this comment and decided to leave. We then asked for a refund for the drinks we had purchased to have with the meal and we were totally blanked. If you want outstanding awful service then this is the place for you - avoid!!

This is a beautiful pub, excellent staff but the food was of very low standard. We were really disappointed and did not finish our meal. Two other couples one with there children also left due to the poor quality of the food. Such a shame as it is lovely pub and very family friendly.

my family and i come to the gynn everytime we visit Blackpool . its so nice to go somewhere where the staff are friendly, polite, and the service is always excellent. we wouldn't go anywhere else with our kids as the food is always good and they are always content after eating. with all the fast food outlets in blackpool we found we can spend exactly the same amount of money and have a nutritious meal which is enjoyed by all.looking forward to visiting soon.
