We ordered a bottle of wine and was given a half used bottle that had been kept in the fridge ,the waiter was watching the football and playing on his phone and not good food.

Would never step foot in this establishment, there are plenty of other places that are nearby with much better service that won't try to rip you off, very unprofessional and unreliable if you are thinking of organising a meal/event here.What sort of business would try to charge you extra one week before a Christmas party and then hurl abuse/accusations/threats and call you liars even though we had confirmation of costs in writing??? Ruined a Christmas party for 20 small children Doesn't deserve the trade, plenty more deserving businesses nearby.

Terrible experience. Manager threatened us and cancelled our booking at the last minute as we refused to pay an increase £150 for an increase in food and room hire costs despite having the original price in writing six weeks before.

Tried here for breakfast. Would not go back. Pleasant but absolutely clueless untrained staff, below par food using cheap ingredients, and the same dated Natalie imbruglia cd on constant repeat. Felt like nobody was in charge or really cared. Would not return, especially with so much competition locally.

Was there for breakfast today, The Halo breakfast is £5.50.. my dining partner requested scrambled egg with his and was told this was fine. Some minutes later the server was sent over to our table to ask for an extra 55p as scrambled egg uses 2 eggs not 1!!!! She was incredibly embarrassed and apologetic. And so would I be working for someone who makes such bad customer service decisions. Won't be going there again.

halo has a nice garden out back which is good because when i went the inside was way too smoky, at brunch-time. places this small should be no-smoking at least before 8pm. nice smoked salmon/poached egg/muffin combo
