Emma
Very impressed. Lovely atmosphere, friendly staff and good food. I will definitely be returning soon.

I have visited Hudson's Coffee House at Colmore Row, Birmingham a number of times, and on each occasion it has been a pleasant experience. The staff are always polite, efficient, considerate and their professional conduct is second to none. Not only this, but there was a definite relaxing atmosphere that had a great air of ambience. Hudson's seems to be a place that attracts a certain kind of customer who have a certain docorum and who know how to behave. None of the usual disrespectful people who insist on talking loud on their mobile phones. Instead, you can relax, unwind and slip into a different world whilst sipping on the aromatic coffee or eating one of the delicious sandwiches or snacks. A pleasant change indeed from the hustle and bustle of this fast-paced and crazy world. Well done to Hudson's. It is truly a unique coffee house and, one which I will always visit. Stephen Hardy

I stumbled across Hudson's by accident and it was a lovely surprise. I only had coffee, but it, the service and the place were all excellent. There is a unique atmosphere, waiting staff in wastcoats and Noel Coward playing in the background, lovely building and decoration. I plan to go back soon.
Hudsons Coffee House
Hudson's has always been an excellent place to eat during the day. The staff are all excellent - mostly because Tim Penrose the wonderfully eccentric owner refuses to hire anyone who has ever worked in the restaurant business before, saying that they have therefore learnt all of the wrong habits! He trains them from scratch and as a result they are polite, efficient and always come to your table when you want them to and don't continually pester you when you are in the middle of a conversation! Hudson's has now opened for evening dining and the quality of the food and the whole experience has come through from the normal opening hours. We went and had steak in a beautiful Stilton sauce and Parma ham and fresh fig salad, with a selection of their mind-blowing excellent cheeses to follow. If you've been to Hudson's in the day then you owe it to yourself to go during the eveningÅ And if you've not been at all then treat yourself to a truly wonderful dining experience!
