Booked for 1pm Xmas day 2015. Awful.
Waited 1/2 hour for the tiniest starter that had to be returned as it was cold. Actual dinner arrived at 2.45pm. Again small portion that was cold some meals had vegetables others didn't. Returned to the kitchen to be warmed up. For desert we all ordered ice cream after yet another long wait it arrived. Melting and just plonked in a bowl. Nothing festive other than cheap crackers on the table. Staff not particularly friendly. Manager thought that by offering us a discount it would appease me. It didn't. Will never return, nor recommend. Other postings of bad experience has been posted on Tripadvisor.

Called Saturday afternoon 3.30pm with a party of 6. Told that the premises are closed for food. So the open from noon to midnight obviously doesn't count.

Decided to try Istanbul Grill on 16th September 2014, as we couldn't get in at our favourite Urmston restaurant.
It was absolutely wonderful. Food was delicious, service was exemplary, atmosphere so wonderful we were compelled to return again just over a week later to try other items on the menu.
Currently booked to go back for our 3rd visit on Saturday 18th October 2014, to what has become our NEW favourite Urmston restaurant. And cannot wait.

First time at Istanbul Grill for my mums 60th. Had a fantastic night! Food was amazing and staff were very helpful!! Definitely recommended, this place has a brilliant atmosphere!

3rd time visited the Istanbul Grill it makes a nice change to actually go somewhere in Urmston that has atmosphere as well as good service and excellent food. Drinks are a bit expensive but most restuarants are.
Going again on Friday looking forward to trying something different on the menu again and having a great night.

Fantastic food & brilliant staff so friendly. We always get a very warm welcome as we know some of the people from Didsbury. The food is always hot & plentiful. The service impeccable very polite & helpful staff . I would very highly recommend the restaurant it's stunning , can't wait to go again.

This was my 1st time here for a meal on a Monday night. There was 3 of us and I'm in a wheelchair. On arriving the doors were open and at once saw a step leading into the restuarant, this put me off slightly as it wasn't mentioned when I rang them and asked if they had a disabled toilet,. Once inside the decor was bright and very spacious, I was really impressed with it. The meal was lovely, the waiter service was spot on. I then went to use the disabled loo, just a slight niggle that there was was some chairs stacked in front of the Door but they were easily removed when asked, once inside loo it was lovey and clean and spacious for wheelchairs I did keep rolling back slightly as the floor seemed to tilt but it wasn't a problem for me. On leaving we were just about to get down the step again when one of the waiters asked if the ramp would be better for us, yes there is a ramp but we had not seen it so I was so pleased and so much easier for me. We had had a lovely evening and the ramp was the icing on the cake. Would really recommend. Brilliant.
