Came to this restaurant 2 years ago; was fabulous. Now, I have a 2 year old child. Service was absolutely horrible. The waiters were unhelpful, impatient and unfriendly. I'm sure they are fine with corporate clientele but they do not accommodate children well. Do not recommend to mothers. PS Food was average but nothing special. Sorry guys

This USED to be one of my favourite restaurants as the food is quite good although it is overly priced. Unfortunately, I will NOT be going back again. I booked a table for a birthday meal and could not be 100% sure of the numbers because it was during Ramadhan and it was proving difficult for some of my friends to commit completely. After many long conversations with the incredibly rude, inconsiderate and arrogant manager AJAY BHATIA, we finally booked a table for 12 and when due to unforeseen circumstances, only 7 of my friends could make it, the manager and some of the waiting staff treated us all with incredible disrespect. Drinks orders were taken and not brought to us, we were ignored by the staff on many occasions and to top it all, as I left the restaurant, the manager Ajay had the audacity to have a go at me! I am a business woman myself and believe me, if I spoke to my clients and treated them in the way I was treated my business would not last 5 minutes. I think Mr Bhatia needs some strong lessons in etiquette and how to excel in customer service!

Arrogant rude staff & bland food. Small portions. We ordered a chicken dish described as chunks of breast off the bone, only to be served two chicken drumsticks in a sauce! Also they added on a bottle of white wine to our bill which we did not have! After pointing this out the waiter went off in a huff to change the bill with no apology whatsoever. Bill for 2 people with a couple of beers was almost £80!! Will never eat there again; I have no idea who writes the reviews in the press!

"My partner and I decided to try out Itihaas recently, and I must warn anyone reading this to seriously consider what I am about to tell you. Seemed pleasant enough, until 5 minutes into eating our meal, my partner bit into a piece of GLASS which was disguised amongst the rice. It wasn't just a tiny piece either, it was well over half a centimetre long, and pointed. Luckily he caught it just before swallowing. So, we called over the waiter, and as you can imagine, he was genuinely concerned. The manager came over and apologised, then handed us a card to get a free meal next time. Not wishing to make a fuss, we said it was ok, accidents do happen. The full plates were taken away (obviously, we could eat no more) as we finished off our drinks. Then, as we were leaving, one of the waiters stopped us and said we must pay!!!!!! We were stunned!!!! Pay for a meal with glass in it?!!!! Were they having a laugh??? No, they were deadly serious. The manager came over and explained that the card was for a free meal next time!! Next time??? "There won't be a next time" we told him. Needless to say, we refused to pay. Much to the annoyance of the manager. The funny thing is, if they had just given us the glass meal for free, we may well have gone back again, and actually PAID but the treatment we received, I wouldn't go back if somebody PAID ME! Steer well clear! Accidents can happen but such poor customer service is inexcusable."
