My wife and myself have visited this restaurant twice in the last two weeks, i must say it must be at the very top of the Indian curry restaurants not just in Birmingham but nationally. Food especially anything lamb is superb, melt in your mouth and freshly spiced, tandoori starters also excellent quality, service is excellent also, costs also good value, nothing spared using first quality ingredients, we will be making it our number one Asian restaurant, i hope others try this one, you will not be disappointed

All i can say is Jojolapa is excellent. The service, the food, the atmosphere. Waiters are so friendly they will stop and have a chat. They do not rush you while you are eating like some other restaurants. They are always willing to recommend dishes if you needed there help. the only thing is the prices are a little expensive but it is worth every penny

My wife and I went on a Monday evening. As soon as you walk into the restaurant, you can feel that subtle ambience around you. The big brass pots with floating flowers and the smell of incense add a very nice touch to the already nicely decorated restaurant. On arrival, we were asked where we would like to sit, rather than taken to a table. The service is great, we were also told that if we didn’t understand anything on the menu or needed any advice to just get his attention. The food is amazing and the portions are very generous indeed. All in all, I would suggest that rather than go up the road to Asha's take a detour to Jojolapa, it's worth every penny. Subs

Originally went to try Nepalese food so was a little disappointed that most of the menu was more Indian. However, the food and service were both excellent. I would definitely go again and have I recommended it to all my friends. The Nepalese dishes I tried were excellent. It's not the cheapest place so I wouldn't be able to go there very often unfortunately but I will go for special occasions.

The cost maybe slightly high, but then it is Birmingham City Centre, BUT....the food is the best I have ever tasted, well worth the money!
