Just been to Lau's... Disgusting! Found the staff very miserable and quite ignorant. Paid the extra for "Grand Buffet"... Nothing changed except for a couple bits of crab which tasted horrible! I will never go back, nor would I recommend the place to anyone! Not happy at all!!

Fantastic fast paced chinese buffet. Massive selection, nice and very clean. I went up with 6 of me mates - going again on a staggy in june.

i went yesterday 04/02/2010 with my college class there was 11 of us and the service was terrible . they wanted us to pay before we had even started our meal , we had to stand in a queue and get our on drinks . they wanted us out by half past 4 so they kept reminding us the time and if we didn't leave we would have to pay more . the food was cold and over cooked . this is the worst Chinese i have ever tasted . we didn't make any noise and you could tell when we went out that they were pleased to get rid of us . but our money is just as good as anybody elses . we had to rush our food because they kept looking over us .

ive been coming here for years.Ive tried the other ones nearby and they don't compare.The food is top class and extremely good value,and the staff are friendly.The choice is amazing and everything is very tasty.I'm very particular when it comes to my food but i never have any complaints here. The drinks are NOT expensive as a few people say.You ARE in a city centre remember! The drinks are a lot cheaper here than the surrounding bars.I prefer to sit downstairs in this restaurant as the toilets are situated there.
