Nb
We visited this weekend and had a nice meal with a nice bottle of wine. Starters were good but it was disappointing to find the beef rib special should be served with so much fat that there was indeed far more fat than beef. Sorry, but with other very good restaurants around, I shall need some encouragement to return.

I am not a great "foodie" and it was my first visit to any restaurant for many years. It was a very enjoyable evening. The food for me was a revelation and inspired me to search for further culinary delights! The staff were warm knowledgeable and attentive without being intrusive. Mmm maybe I will soon be a great : foodie! "

Visit a few times and the food is delicious! A must for me is a glass of champagne as an aperitif. Staff extremely friendly and attentive. Definitely a place to re-visit soon.

We live in Devon with relatives in Cheshire, the people of Congleton just do not realise how fortunate they are to have such a place in their town. In fact "The Place." The food changes daily but the quality remains the same. Excellent. This is our first point of call off the M6. We wish he would move to Devon.

The staff were very rude to other staff and customers this environment was very unfriendly and uncomfortable. However the food was of a good quality and good service
Wits End
I live near Congleton and we are fortunate to have such a high quality restaurant in our town. The owner-chef is committed to sourcing high quality and local ingredients, including game. [This is a man who even picks wild mushrooms at 5.00 a.m. and keeps bees - a true enthusiast]. His cooking is not flashy but sets consistently high standards - I have eaten there quite often and always enjoyed his creations. Nice atmosphere with a family touch

The food was very good, its a shame the service did not match the quality of the food. Not very welcoming.
L'Endroit
Very pleasant lunch. The starter was wonderful, but the main course although beautifully cooked and presented did not quite match the entree, however well worth the price.
L'Endroit
A beautiful restaurant with a very friendly ambience. The food was wonderful and cooked to perfection. Excellent choices on the menu and excellent wine list.
