About Mammas Restaurant and Pizzeria

With its checked tablecloths, straw-clad bottles of Chianti, a Venetian mural and liberal doses of red, white and green, Mammas is the ultimate in traditional Italian dining. It first opened its doors in 1980 and has been under the same ownership ever since. You'll find it between Blackpool's North Pier and North Station and the dining area is spread out through a series of brick alcoves, making for a cosy and intimate dining experience. The food is as traditional as the décor with all the Italian favourites plus a daily specials board. Mamma's is famous for its stuffed mushrooms, spare ribs and its range of pasta dishes. There's also a tremendous range of special deals on offer. Open every day from 5pm and for lunch Monday to Saturday.

Been going here for years. A Blackpool institution. Highly recommended!

Not been to Mamma’s for ages but we were off to a show at the Grand and thought we’d have a quick bite first. Whilst I was waiting for my wife I noticed on the signage that Mamma’s opened in 1980 – the year before I did my O-levels. That’s staying power! It really is your archetypal Italian with checked tablecloths and straw-covered bottles of Chianti and as the years go by these kind of places are becoming more and more thin on the ground. Just had a pizza, a lasagne, a bottle of Frascati and a couple of coffees but it certainly did the trick.

We were away for the weekend and I found and booked Mammas prior to our visit. The restaurant did not disappoint. From the minute we walked into the restaurant to when we left we felt looked after. The atmosphere was great and the food was excellent. There was nothing whatsoever about our visit that disappointed.

We recently visited Mammas. The visit did not disappoint we were well looked after. The atmosphere was great and the food was excellent. We had no complaints whatsoever and will visit again if we are in that area. I would say this restaurant is a must if you are in the area and it will not disappoint. It was a traditional and well cared for Italian Restaurant.

Not been for about 12 months, why i asked myself afterwards. Popped in for lunch and ordered off the lunch time menu and really enjoyed both my starter and main and my hubbys and just love their garlic bread. The food was very tasty and the wine went down well to.

Have been going to Mammas now for 10 years when visiting my daughter and family. They introduced me to Mammas as they think its the greatest. My holiday wouldn't be complete as we make it a special occasion and all have a great night out with beautiful food and very friend service. Brilliant evening out for all the family.
