We first used this place about 10 years ago and can thoroughly recommend it. Yes, it is a bit grubby. You are in Chapeltown not Mayfair. However the food and staff are great. The first time we went we found the granddad, dad, son and brother all chopping chicken! Marvellous.

Excellent, cheap Indian food - and in that order! Excuse the grubby decor and poor location, the food is very good and certain dishes are truly fantastic. I recommend the chicen pakora and onion bhajii starters and the karahi chicken and chicken ceylon main courses. Treat yourself to an onion naan too, truly exquisite!

I only live a few minutes walk away, and use regularly. All food freshly cooked in open kitchen. The starters are very good. Usually quiet in the evening, but gets very busy from 2300hrs onwards. Opes till about 3am.
