Went to a 40th birthday party and was very disappointed with their bar prices, other guests mentioned this also so it just wasn't me. It was one of the only 40ths I've attended where the majority of guests were still sober at the end of the night - if invited to another event at Bartle Hall I would definitely make an excuse and avoid. By having smaller profit margins I'm sure they could reap higher profits.
Bartle Hall Country Hotel
The food is very good, I could hardly move last time I ate here. The place however, is simply beautiful, especially the grounds; I spent most of the afternoon watching squirrels playing on the lawn. I've only ever visited on business, but this is definitely an ideal setting for a wedding !
