Went to 21 last night for the first time, and was very pleasantly surprised. We had the early evening menu which was cheap at £15.95 for 2 courses. Excellent service, complementary bread and olives ALWAYS A BONUS!... excellent - we'll be back.

We went for the earlier evening meal option which we found very good value. No 21 is a charming little restaurant with a relaxed atmosphere, very good food and lovely location. I would definitely recommend it.

My husband and I went to No 21 on Saturday night - we had a fantastic meal! Food was excellent (quality, presentation and flavours), complemented by professional and attentive service, and a rather nice bottle of Fleurie. Having been to most restaurants in Exeter, I can honestly say that it knocks the socks of the likes of Michael Caines and The Blue Fish Brasserie.... the restaurant has a lovely ambience, and although not the cheapest, at No 21 you get what you pay for and we thought it was well worth what we paid (unlike the other two restaurants I mentioned previously!). Can't believe we hadn't been there before - we'll be back!!!!

I have now visited this place 4-5 times. I have eaten from their breakfast menu (Very reasonably priced), their lunch menu (little more expensive), their evening menu (pricey) All have been very good. I have visited most establishments in Exeter & this is one of my favourite places to eat.

This is a very pleasant evening out indeed - the food is excellent, and the location and service could hardly be bettered
Carved Angel Cafe The
The Carved Angel is my preferred choice of restaurant in Exeter. The service is polite and warming, the food is amazing and the beautiful views of the Cathedral make it a perfect night out. The menu is varied and affordable especially when you get 3 courses and a glass of wine for £20!!!!
Carved Angel Cafe The
Excellent meal and a good night out
Carved Angel Cafe The
The view is beautiful, overlooking the cathedral and green. The food is lovely and homemade and they serve coffees to die for!
