Four of us had a 8 pm booking last night and first impressions were good,nice place and attentive service,however when it came to ordering our main course,s problems arose.My first choice of lamb moussaka was no longer available as was my next choice of Italian meatballs then again for beef lasagna,i was left with either chicken casserole or stuffed peppers-NOT IMPRESSED,as for dessert three of us wanted the pecan pie but only one was available-DISAPPOINTED, would visit again but before sitting down to order i would make sure what was available on the menu.

As regulars at Panizzi we agree with everything you have said about the deli and wine bar. They serve quality food and wine in relaxed surroundings. The stylish interior is reminiscent of time spent in Tuscany with the framed photographs adding to this feeling. The staff are professional, friendly and efficient and contribute to the welcoming atmosphere. Panizzi has many regulars, local people who recognise quality and who agree that it is one of the best additions to Beverley.

I would not recommend this as a good place to eat. My sister made a booking for twelve, a month in advance.We waited an hour for the starter and another hour for the main course, both were of very poor quality. We did not get the time for a dessert. Complaining , the owner informed us that Panizzi is not really a restaurant because the premises do not have the required equipment due to fire regulations. We was not informed of this when we made the booking.There are much better places to eat in Beverley, proper restaurants that serve good food, with good service and do not charge the earth for what was for us a very poor night out. You have been warned.
