Petra restaurant is the best. I'm very choosy with food on top of that I have a funny stomach.I have always enjoyed the food at Petra. The staff are very nice ,friendly atmosphere and the food is great.Try the dish Maqlouba,its my best or Shawarma or the homemade sausages or side dish starter"Tahina",the fish.They are all equally tasty , fresh and in generous portions. I highly recommend it to everyone who likes good food .

This is my favourite place to eat in the world. The food is totally fresh and piping hot. We have about 10 1st courses between 4 of us and a couple of chicken kebabs and fabulous rice with fried onions on top. the 1st courses are to die for. Try: moutabal( smoked aubergine), baba ganosh, tabbouleh, falafel, potato kibbeh, ful ma dam ( hot green beans), fantastic chick peas and onions, lach biajeen ( a flat pancake with mince meat on).I have come every birthday for years and really once a week anyway. and what wonderful people.keep is a secret!

For my husband to be impressed by the food at any restaurant it has to be exceptional - he loves the food in Petra which says something!! We have recommended Petra to many friends who have all enjoyed the food, the service and the evening - All have returned again and again, as have we?!

I must say that the food is absolutely delicious. The atmosphere and service is fabulous. You must try it. Highly recommended.

The food here is absolutely fabulous. I have travelled and worked in the Middle East and the food is exactly the same as you get there. The staff work very hard and are so nice to all the customers. The owner should be very proud of his business. I recommend it very highly

I am currently based in Dubai, my parents live in Manchester. I've travelled around the Middle-East but the food here has to be the best I've tasted. Try the Baba Ghannouge and Kibbeh - these guys are masters when it comes to authentic syrian/lebanese cuisine - excellent and highly recommended.
