Recently visited this venue for a family wedding. The food was excellent. Everything seemed fresh even the bread rolls. We have booked for the Valentines meal as the menu read like a Michelin star restaurant, I'm sure it will taste the same too.

Went for a meal with my partner and grandparents. Assured by the manager that all food can be traced and is from local producers but can only explain our dining experience at The Pickerings as somewhat disappointing. Food was tasteless and service was slow. Took the time to feedback and the Manager sent a snooty reply. Would NOT recommend.

Had my birthday at the Pickerings and ate off the Restaurant menu. TDH Menu 3 courses £21.95- My dad had Ostrich and girlfriend tried the venison which was amazing. I opted for the 10oz Steak- which had real homemade chips. Will definitely be going back soon.

The Pickering? was fantastic!! We went for my friends christening. The food was lovely, broccoli and Stilton soup to start, roast of the day, and strawberry cheesecake for dessert- all for £12.50. A very reasonable price we thought seeing the quality and service was so high. I definitely recommend it to all.
