Me and 4 friends visited here for our dinner before going to a concert in March. We hadn't made a reservation so there was a 30 min wait for a table. This wasn't a problem, we just went into the downstairs pub for a drink.Staff were friendly but a little rushed as the restaurant was 3/4 full and it appeared they hadn't enough staff for this amount of guests.As we were called to sit down after our 30min wait I informed the waiter we had already viewed the menu's during our wait and were ready to order our food immediately as we needed to hurry to get to the event we had come for. 20 Mins passed before a waitress returned to take our food order which did not impress us one bit after already waiting 30 mins for a table. Another 30 mins before our meals arrived and by now I was getting worried that this would make us late for our concert.I for asked for the steak I had ordered to be cooked medium. Any steak lover knows fully that this means just at the point were the steak stops to bleed red. The steak I received was on the border of being well-done, the inner of the steak was completely brown (NOT PINK LIKE IT SHOULD BE!) and the outside a little charcoal like.We also ordered the bottomless chips with our meals, we each ordered a portion of this 2 mins into our meals but when they finally arrived a the table we had finised the rest of our meals.Overall it was ok, but due to the slow service and the mistakes made by the kitchen I would not return to this establishment again.

I wouldn't recommend the quay house at all. It has nice surroundings outside of the building but it can look shabby on the inside. Dirty tables and the staff don't look very happy. Been to better places

I tried this restaurant after getting fed up with the poor food and service in the man utd exec suite. The food and service were great, steaks beautiful and cooked to perfection! the 14oz sirlion fantastic, great choice from extensive menu too!
