This place is absolutely amazing. Can't believe this place is in Halifax. Went for dinner and got the best steak I've had in a while. really big portions. excellent service.

just been to r+cs was sat down -waited 10 minutes no one could be bothered to even bring over a menu or take a drinks order -looked round the place wasn't exactly busy but the people that were there seemed to be waiting to be served--so we got up and walked out

omg had to wait like for ever for service. When the food did arrive, omg, I ordered a medium well done steak as per the menu, but apparently you cant request this type of steak!!!!! everything was really slow, then when i complained it was like my fault!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A nice place to eat if you don't have children. When myself and my sister walked in with our children (4 in total) we were treated as though we had a deadly disease. The man who served us was rude beyond belief. His female sidekick looked as though she had a bad smell under her nose. I complained to another waiter, to be told that unfortunately the man who served us wasn't child friendly. No child menu. No willingness to make daughter a sandwich with out cheese, even though she has a dairy allergy. Her only other option was curly fries! We will never eat there again.

After traveling around 26 miles for a special birthday upon a friends recommendation, my family arrived into a great atmosphere. Staff were very welcoming and competent. The steaks were amazing and worth the drive. But never before have I been so insulted and embarrassed. The chefs, one in particular were rude and obnoxious to anyone who took food away from the kitchen. Every other word was a crude obscenity, incredibly insulting and undeserved. It was a wonder that staff remained calm and friendly. Good food, but let down by obnoxious name calling. I felt embarrassed. Not for me.

What has happened here? It used to be a real pleasure to eat at Ricci's.My sister and I went on Friday lunch to celebrate her birthday. The service was appalling and the food was a big disappointment. There is not enough room to get comfortable. All in all a poor do.

I'm a big fan of Riccis but have to say that my last visit - Fri 8th December - was something of a let down. My food was fabulous but my sisters left alot to be desired - chunks of bread in the meatballs!! Sorry guys but the staff need to be re-trained - tell them how to treat a customer, its all about being made to feel welcome &, quite frankly, it didnt happen.

Food very good, but disappointed with service 25 minute wait and no desert menu or coffees offered. Had to ask for finger bowl to go with ribs, and olives which we ordered never appeared, when we complained we were told would not be charged for olives, does that make sense? not being charged for something we had not received. For our inconvenience we were told we could have a free coffee but thats our lot. recommend staff training programme
