Called in on way back from Southport,wish we hadn't bothered the mushroom stroganoff was in a sauce that was definitely not a stroganoff sauce in fact it was honey and mustard. Why do they think its exceptable to serve food that's of low standard and then expect people to pay for it. Never ever going back there.

just come back from a visit to this pub. please, please ,if you are thinking of going here DON'T we saw a sign for under new management and expected a pub that used to have a reputation as a good food pub to be a reasonable standard . what we got was overpriced and poorly cooked i was extreamly disappointed as there were 7 of us in the party and not one of us had a reasonable meal. there were people on the next table who had different meals who said it looked like a dog had been chewing there food before it was served . it is advertised as home cooked but the food is a very bad standard this is the first time i have been for some years and after this i will never be going again . i'm just at the point of phoning them as i am feeling very ill after eating there i'll put money on there not being a profesional cook in the kitchen
