Was very excited to try Samsi Spinningfields . My husband had arranged a shushi making class for a couple of friends and us, for my birthday. We made reservation for 4 but when we arrived, the manager told us our party could not do the class together and we had to do it with another couple. They put my husband and I with another group instead of our friends. Obviously, they made a mistake when taking the reservation but they did not accept their fault and did nothing to accommodate us. Did not offer any alternatives. We left feeling very disappointed. We will try Samsi Manchester but won't come back to Spiningfields due to the poor service we received.

absolutely a class above all the other Japanese restaurants within the North West. A friendly surrounding, extremely sociable, but remaining private if you need it. Food is wonderful and is very tasty. The Obento boxes for take away (which I treated myself to, greedy so and so that I am) are just as if you were eating directly at the restaurant. I froze, then defrosted and microwaved one, and oven cooked the other. Taste was brilliant.
