This old pub has now become hidden so well, that only locals have any chance of finding it. But visitors should make the effort.
A good, sound pub meal, but with enough choice to satisfy the jaded, is served by friendly staff at a pocket friendly price.

It provides a cracking lunch time venue within a couple of minutes by car from the town centre.

we ate there one evening for my mums birthday. The food was great, very tasty, plentiful,& the service was good. the girl behind the bar and the waitress were very friendly. the price of our food was very, very reasonable. i had fajitas, delicious, £5.50. have paid 15 quid elsewhere. worth another visit. i was told they like well behaved children, which is fine by me, & luckily, mine are!
