Solea Restaurant & Wine Bar is on Elton Road in the rural southeastern outskirts of Blackburn. It’s a modern new venue but housed in a building dating back to around 1810 which retains many historical features, including the original stone floor. Chef patron Mark Taylor has 17 years’ experience in the kitchen – 10 as a head chef – and his menu at Solea features traditional small dishes with a modern twist and seasonal main courses. All allergies are catered for with an allergen sheet available upon request. Exclusive wines, craft cocktails, premium lagers, ciders, bitters and IPAs complement the food offering.
