Had lunch for two yesterday. Chicken salad- where was the meat? Eggs benedict- poorly seasoned. House salad- poor with cubes of stale, tasteless bread. Both meals were bland....and quite expensive Staff lovely!

Sorry cannot write a recommendation as it was a pretty awful experience - it was everything that was wrong for a good evening out (apart from the view)

This hotel has been impressively refurbished by the new owner Hall & Woodhouse and makes the most of the breathtaking view over the mouth of the River Teign and across Lyme Bay. Good traditional fayre served up by friendly staff who obviously want to be there. Book early.
