A terrific local neighbourhood Bangaldeshi and Indian restaurant which is as good as any of the central Birmingham Asian restaurants if not, particularly in the deliciousness of the food served, better. Friendly and excellent service and bright, modern decor makes for a pleasant dining area which gains a good ambience as the place fills up. If it is quiet, it is still a comfortable place to be with excellent attention from the staff though never overbearing. Good value for money and a varied and interesting menu make for an excellent way to pass a couple of hours over Asian food which I feel can hardly be bettered. Amounts served are just right - filling but not overwhelming. The main problem for the restaurant is its location up a steep flight of stairs without any other form of access which makes it an impossible dining venue for severely disabled diners, in particularly those in wheelchairs. The restaurant does not have an alcohol license but it is possible to take your own drinks with you and the staff will readily open the bottles without charge. There is parking space nearby in the shopping area of West Heath. A visit to this little suburb of Birmingham is well worthwhile for the deliciousness of a meal at this modest but excellent restaurant and I heartily recommend such a visit for the sheer pleasure of tasting the delicious and varied flavours on offer. Sadly, it is only open in the evening and closed at lunchtime.
