Luuuuurve it, what a wonderful proper pub

Warm welcome for us and the dog. Lovely food and relaxed atmosphere. We wish it was closer to home. The perfect end to a lovely walk in the woods.

A very traditional pub with a warm and welcoming atmosphere set in a beautiful location. Even muddy boots are welcome. The staff are very friendly and attentive and understand the meaning of service. The menu is what one would wish of a country pub with the food being beautifully prepared and presented. It is a real ale pub with 4 well kept ales. In winter the interior is warm with an open fire. For the summer, the garden overlooking fields is sheltered and comfortable with plenty of room. I hope the current landlord will stay for a long time.

Excellent pub with good olde worlde atmosphere, good menu, good food and portions. Made to feel welcome by staff. Beer very good and good choice of beer. Will definitely go back some time soon.

I love the place, good atmosphere, super- friendly staff, the beer is spot-on and the food is what a proper pub should serve. Wish it was my local, well done all at The Blackwood Arms.
