The Fishpool Inn at Delamere is the latest project for Nelson North West Hotels. The property, which dates back to the eighteenth century, has undegone a major overhaul, taking the original L-shaped barn structure with all its nooks and crannies and bringing it up to 21st century standards of hospitality with a careful and sympathetic restoration. It’s a family friendly venue open seven days a week serving food from midday through to 10pm. Specialities include succulent chargrilled 12oz Ribeye Beef on the Bone, Lamb Rump, Whole Sea bass, Salmon and Duck. A Woodstone Oven turns out flat breads and pizzas that are light and crispy and full of flavour. Handcrafted pies are another speciality, including Beef & Weetwood Ale, Chicken & Cheshire Ham, Bowland Braised Shoulder of Lamb and Ox Cheek & Oxtail with Blue Cheese. Not forgetting a fantastic range of sandwiches, salads and desserts. The Fishpool Inn will build on the success of the group’s other properties -- The Pheasant Inn at Burwardsley, The Bear's Paw at Warmingham and The Grosvenor Pulford Hotel & Spa.
