Great service, delicious food and a wonderful atmosphere. It's a tragedy if you haven't visited The Grill on the Square!

Visited Blackhouse on Saturday 24th August. We had not booked a table. We were greeted by pleasant, friendly and professional "Front of House" and quickly escorted to the bar where we ordered drinks. Front of House quickly seated us and we were professionally dealt with. Ordered our main course, no starter and it was on the table before our second drink. Excellent service. The steaks (medium rare) were absolutely unsurpassed for taste and quality ! We chatted to Rob the manager and were made to feel very welcome. Grill on The Alley (Blackhouse) is in our opinion the best restaurant for steak in Leeds.

Wonderful meal at The Grill on the Square. I visited on Tuesday for a spot of lunch and was nothing other than pleasantly surprised at the feast before my eyes. A steak sandwich resembling a pie and home made chips in a basket. Great food, great people, and great service. Plus, i've hear its live music on an evening! Will certainly be heading back!

Once again, I had an absolutely wonderful time at The Grill on the Square. Last week was my second visit to the venue and i was not disappointed. This time, i really pushed the boat out by opting for the Wagyu fillet! Accompanied by live music, I had a truly tremendous time! If you haven't visited Grill on the Square - You really must!!!!

I visited the Grill on the Square last Saturday evening to celebrate my anniversary and we had a great time! The ambiance really was second to none and made the perfect setting for our celebration. I chose the honey, rosemary and lemon chicken skewers to start, followed by the crispy salt and pepper beef fajitas. We will certainly be heading back quickly!!!

Enjoyed a fantastic birthday meal with a gift card that I received at Christmas. Live pianist on even though it was a Tuesday made it feel really special. Atmosphere is great as is the service. Our waiter really knew his stuff. Good menu of home comforts works well when it's this cold! will definitely be back again

Great meal for my graduation with the family. Very attentive service and the food was great. Atmosphere is very good and they have a live pianist. Would recommend the prawns souffle and the duck, both yummy!

We'd been looking for somewhere that does good cocktails AND good food, Blackhouse really hit the mark. Fabulous service and there was a live pianist. Looking forward to going back soon.

Great steak and seafood in a chunky modern interior. it was raining when we went but they has drinkers outside which is rare in leeds. really friendly service from nice waiters, not snooty. pianist is a real plus as it makes the atmosphere buzzy not dry.

great steaks, good service. really nice atmosphere. very busy at weeks... we didn't book but managed to get table after a drink. they sometimes do offers. i found one on the Facebook page. I'm going again on Sunday to try out the roasts.
