Dating back to the late fifteenth century when it was built as a residence for the bailiff of Osney Abbey, The Manor at Weston-on-the-Green is a stunning Cotswolds country house hotel close to Bicester Shopping Village and Silverstone race track. The Oxfordshire luxury hotel has 28 individually designed bedrooms and suites, 12 acres of grounds and is approached along a tree-lined drive. There’s a heated outdoor pool, tennis courts, croquet on the lawn and sun-drenched terraces where you can enjoy lighter bites, drinks or The Manor’s popular Afternoon Tea. The Baron’s Hall is the two-AA-rosette fine dining restaurant at The Manor. A typical meal might start with Confit Rabbit Roulade with Carrot Textures, Raspberry and Parsley followed by Sous-Vide Venison with Artichokes, Beetroot, Celeriac and Figs and for dessert Raw Cocoa Torte with Raspberry, Coconut, Peach and Vanilla Sorbet. Guests have their choice of dining rooms too - The Baron’s Hall, Bertie’s Bar, the Snug or Drawing Room and, when the weather permits, the beautiful Topiary Terrace.
