I arrived and was shoehorned into corner table where my arms jutted into wall. I ordered the same meal I had had there several times before and this time it came with no vegetables and potatoes. It was the Moussaka I ordered which normally quite nice. It was awful to eat with no vegetables.. When I complained, the waitress first told me the vegetables were coming and then half-way through meal said that they don't come with meal unless you go to restaurant for early bird menu. The restaurant added 10% to the bill without asking service charge. When we complained the manager (who was owner's son I think) said he did ask us if we wanted salad and why won't we pay 10% service charge as we should pay it. The attitude of staff there was not to care at all about the customers. I had an awful experience and will never go back.

Visited this place by accident as the nearby Salsa Mexicana was shut. My honest assessment, having not read any reviews previously.... The food was good, but overpriced - I guess you're paying for location The waiter never smiled once (he was Greek, so guessing he must have had something to do with the ownership??) and I don't think he spoke two words other than 'another drink'? Our main course arrived with the largest black curly hair...how they didn't spot it I do not know - it resembled the Wembley arch!! Upon receiving my bill I was stunned to see the 'optional service charge' had still been included....my girlfriend was made to feel very awkward as I insisted they remove this In summary - food good, service poor, rather pretentious and overpriced I guess this is what you get nowadays for dining in 'Chapel A' Give me Salsa Mexicana any day of the week...

We recently visited the Chapel Allerton branch and my wife and I absolutely loved it! The atmosphere was bustling and although the service staff appeared to be under pressure I think they pulled it off nicely. Food was excellent. we both had chicken parcels for starters followed by Greek stew (beef) and I had the lamb shank (the meat melted in my mouth) I have recommended this to friends who have also recently enjoyed a meal here.

fantastic, fantastic, fantastic. i am shocked at how much i enjoyed our meal. The food came after a few mins for our starters, and not much of a wait for our main, which was delicately seasoned, (kotta Roganeti) sorry probably misspelt, the service was really nice, and friendly. the staff really seemed to enjoy what they were doing, such a shame we had to leave. definitely going back

This is a very good restaurant. The staff are keen to please and treat each client as a special guest, The choice of meals is extensive. A good atmosphere, perhaps a little more colour and decoration. Great not hear piped music. Overall a very good experience.

i recently tried this restaurant after hearing so many great reviews about the friendly and excellent service, everyone receives, and how authentic the food is, and i was a bit sceptical about expecting to much, but in this restaurant there my expectations was too low. i love this restaurant and now try and go at least once a fortnight.

I hate greek food but I loved this restaurant. Service was spot on - waiters very good and prices reasonable. Excellent atmosphere caters for groups and couples equally well. I went in thinking I was going to hate it and came out feeling very impressed. This restaurant was better than any I have been to in Headingley or Leeds City Centre.

Olive Tree is the best Greek Restaurant I've ever have, and their staff are nice and friendly too. . Their Tiger Prawn starter and Diced Beef in Red Wine sauce are gorgeous. Would definitely recommend to my friends
