My first visit to Shaman was a wonderful experience, excellent food excellent service and excellent value for money, can't wait to treat my husband to meal there in the near future .

If you want a great meal and excellent eating experience go to the Shampan, I recommend their Nepali chicken or any of their meals on the menu as they are all prepared and cooked to perfection, the staff, Kal and his team, are the friendliest I have come across. Penworthams finest.

The food here is amazing. Fab service brill early bird menu tues - thurs and all you can eat Sunday and always pure quality. We discovered quite by accident and have not gone anywhere else since. Chicken Nepali is addictive - though whatever we have picked has been quality. Good ambience and good range of drinks on draught. Try it and you will be back. Dee-licious x

revolting food, unpleasant atmosphere, rude waiters, no care for the customers, never will come again

ABSOLUTUELY gorgeous food, menu choices and good drinks selection. Nice to see so many drinks on draught. Recommend the Nepali - my boyf had it and we are going tonight and I will be ordering that. The sizzling tikka platter also great though Nepali had the edge. 110% yummi. Good service and nice ambience in the restaurant. A hidden jewel and better than the rest in the locality and further afield no doubt about it. Dee-licious.

Visited this restaurant on Friday evening (3/4/2009) with husband, parents and children. Couldn't fault a thing. The food, surroundings and service were excellent. Will definitely be a regular from now on.

We've been twice since the restaurant opened this summer - excellent both times. The menu has everything you would expect plus some specialities and the food has a fresh - and freshly cooked - flavour you don't find everywhere. Service is impeccable - well organised and attentive without being overbearing. All in all well worth recommending.
