Just enjoyed a very pleasant Sunday lunch, from the new a la carte menu. Smoked salmon starter was wonderful, mains substantial and very good, puddings to die for. Staff were friendly and attentive. A really pleasing experience, we'll be going again.

This place is just Fantastic. I live about 7 miles from Tinkers of Aughton which is great for me as I used to have to travel far for Fantastic food like what Tinkers serves. I have been to this establishment on numerous occasions even had Xmas dinner there! I am not going to say anymore other than if you don't go and taste the fabulous food here. You will be missing out!! Great atmosphere spacious great and helpful staff and excellent food, what more would you want.

Went out of curiosity after seeing Jay Tinker on master chef.The venue has been totally revamped after the last owners went and is very pleasant now, spacious and comfortable with well padded chairs,.Went with my daughter and granddaughter to try out. Menu was not the same as on internet but was very interesting, we had scallops on a bed of parsnip puree , excellent I then had 3 types of Lamb, chop, hotpot and sliced in a rich reduction, it was served on a bed of cabbage and veg with a side if buttered new potatoes absolutely splendid, tasty, well presented and largish portion, the girls both had fish, Cod which came with a ginormous crevette or Hake, both were very well received indeed clean plates all around. Dessert was a lovely cheesecake and I had real cream profiteroles. Bill was about £30 a head but was really cracking value, If they can keep this standard up I see a good future here.
