I love this restaurant and the best time to go visit is on a weekend because the food is just the best. I really enjoyed the fresh cakes that had been made and really enjoyed the friendly staff when I arrived. A big credit to the weekend kitchen staff who developed some brilliant displays of food! We found Verralls tucked away just off the market square in this pretty town. Had a really nice time, friendly staff, great food and not too expensive. Must try the hot chocolate special next time we visit!!

I came to the restaurant for the first time with my family, as we have just moved to the area. We came on a Sunday for Sunday lunch. We liked the look of the restaurant from the outside and the food was just great, the best in the area. I had prawns for starters which were just great, the roast beef was cooked perfectly and the trifle for pudding was fantastic. Thanks to everyone who works there, especially those in the kitchen who made my experience wonderful. I will certainly be coming back.

This is a great restaurant, it has lots of great friendly staff and the food is great, especially on a Sunday for Sunday lunch. A must if you go to Knarsborough.
