Great service, food was fantastic!! Always busy, but always friendly staff. Great choice of vegetables at the carvery !!

Sadly it was the kitchen staff (apart from the one lady carving the meat who really deserved a pay rise) and the really unhelpful waitress, who just appeared to not care about what they were doing, which really spoiled our experience. * The Service was poor, having to find someone to be able to take our order. * Starter's taking far too long to arrive. Even the waitress assumed we'd eaten our starters and were we ready to move on to the carvery, when we hadn't even had our starters. * Drink's again taking far too long to arrive that the lady on the bar in her frustration of them not being collected by our waitress, brought them over herself. * My drink being taken from the table before I'd even finished it. Had to tell the waitress while I was waiting in the Carvery queue. Thankfully she was walking towards me with it, so I could get her attention. Told her it was Disaronno & Coke and all I got back was sorry she thought it was Coke. Does that matter, I'd not finished! * Meat and vegetables so dry, numerous people complained. * No Turkey, again numerous people complained, Only Pork & Beef available, the Turkey wasn't ready. The Beef was in small bits, it couldn't be sliced because it was so dry. *Double dipping by the same waitress (who took my drink) checking to see if the gravy was cold or not, all with one spoon into 2 different gravies. I told the manager immediately. The duty manager (I think she was) came over to our table to apologise for everything and was very understanding at our frustrations. The gravy was changed as she explained and I also saw that for myself too. We were given a free round of drinks, but sadly paying for the meal we absolutely didn't enjoy was something that should of been taken off the bill, not drinks!. It appeared to be a lovely restaurant, however I appreciate it's a busy Sunday, but our issues cannot all be excused 'because it was busy'. In my opinion, if they managed the staff better across the tables in the restaurant, as their appeared to be ample, and had more team work and communication in the kitchen, & generally across the staff, then no matter how busy they were, you would have a happier customer because staff would be communicating for less to go wrong or when it did, it could be dealt with effectively and efficiently.

It was very busy, and the staff and service was excellent, the food was very good great value for money, nothing was to much trouble, would recommend the fairview.

Had the carvery but wasnt great. Went with another couple. We got our food they had to wat another 15 mins for carvery meat. Veg was only warm. Had to wait for more roast potatoes they didn't seem to keep an eye on the veg/potatoes running low.

Had a lovely Sunday Lunch nice staff been here plenty of times and booked celebration birthdays always been excellent that’s why we keep going back

We had the carvery and it wss ok apart from the Yorkshire puddings they were so hard and dried up we couldn't eat them. The service wasn't brilliant we ended up going to bar for drinks as the waitress was too busy serving other eaters and we had waited for quite a while

Booked a table the day before our visit for a Sunday carvery and when we arrived was told the table was upstairs... Not good for an 84 year old woman.. asked for a downstairs table but was told none available for an hour... Please be aware of this when booking... A small whine... Lamb was under cooked.. very tough.. Overall a pleasant experience.

We booked a table for 7pm and when the food arrived there were a few mistakes. The wrong meals got sent out and we found us all having to swap plates as we were all ah did the wrong meal. This meant our food was cold and the meat was quite dry.

Booked table online. Night out for 6 people. Great food! great service! Fab night out with friends! Not been for a while usually had the carvery but wanted to try the main menu. Great choice on menu and we were all really pleased with food.

From friends who had been for breakfast and loved the food we decided to try the Evening meals. We booked a table for 7 pm when we arrived we were told it was a 45 min waiting time for food, Sadly we left as we felt 45 mins is a long time to ask customers to wait especially when we had booked a time ,

First time I have been back in awhile and, because it was a party of eight for Sunday lunch, thought I had better book! On-line booking was easy & worked well and we turned up on time for the reserved table. Although the staff were very busy, our waitress was excellent, sorting the baby chair & getting the drinks order in quick time. We all plumped for the carvery and trotted off to find three delicious roasts - this day was beef, lamb & turkey - and enough vegetables to sink a battleship. The quality of the food was first rate & I don't think anything was left on our plates (despite us having monster portions). Dessert was a little slow, but only one of us managed to totally finish the Eton Mess, another generous portion. Overall I would recommend the quality, quantity and excellent value for money and the great service from the staff....the only delay was paying the bill lol.

Had breakfast very good choices I enjoyed the meal just two things to mention the bacon and the black pudding were over cooked and dry. But everything else was good would definitely go back again.

Excellent Sunday lunch, nice atmosphere, friendly and helpful staff and delicious food cooked to perfection - highly recommend!

Great place to come out with the family, service is always good and prices are a steal for what’s on offer would reccomend

We went for Christmas today paid full for 3 nearly £90 and it was rubbish. Soup was OK . but main meal was boiled Turkey roll and caramel shortcake and my son said it tasted of salt. We spent all this money for Christmas dinner and I am sorry it was crap.
