We’ve eaten here quite a few times. Lovely atmosphere. I had the steak pasta dish which was tasty but some of the steak was very undercooked (I was told it was cooked ‘medium’ but some of it was very rare and chewy.) My Wife had the Dover sole which was pricy at £33 and the brocolli was very undercooked. Almost raw. Our table was adjoining the storage area for the metal racks for holding raised plates on the tables and they were constantly being thrown back just inches from our heads. Not ideal. Our table also needed wedges under it to stop it rocking. Not our best visit ever but we will be back because other visits have been much better.

We came to Sorella on Friday evening with high expectation’s. We had heard the food was lovely and it had a lovely atmosphere. To our surprise we were sat in the outside seating area which we ended up being cold all evening. Our food was average and the service wasn’t great, constantly having to prompt staff for drinks and asked for the bill 4 times as it was forgotten about every time….

Consistently good food and excellent service, we always enjoy a meal at this restaurant.

Really enjoyed the food and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The service was prompt and the atmosphere of the whole restaurant was great. The only downside is that we were crammed in. We only had a table for 2, and it was a very busy Saturday night but if you have to physically move the table to get out, its clearly too close to the next table. They might want to reconsider this in the future but as I say the food and staff were amazing.

Food was lovely, only criticism I could give was that it felt like the service of the food was too fast, could do with a little bit of a longer wait between the starter and main. Great portion size, and they do small portions off the menu for children.

Absolutely amazing food! Went on a Saturday night for Mother’s Day, the food was immaculate. Especially the surf and turf, the steak was so so good. I would eat here again, many times over. The staff are so lovely and welcoming - this just makes the vibe of the restaurant even better. A meal for five of us, all had starters, all had mains and all had deserts, such an amazing price for the amount of food we got. I would eat here again.

Amazing food, generous portions and a really diverse menu. Served by super attentive staff and a relaxed, intimate atmosphere. Loved it!!

Only my second visit, taking friends for lunch of the back of excellent evening meal previously. Good move as my friends really enjoyed it, also good quality wines on offer. Now ,u##my favourite restaurant in Saddleworth and will definitely be going again.

The starters and main course were average. However, the Cheese Platter offered on the Dessert Menu was very poor. We were told as there were no grapes or celery available, slices of a strawberry was the substitute! The crackers were very ordinary and the cheeses were morsels rather than portions! It is perhaps as well, that we do not have butter with our cheese and crackers, as the individually wrapped pats, accompanying the cheese were frozen!

Visited this restaurant following recommendations of residents in the area. We were visiting our grandson and we are so pleased we found this independent restaurant. Staff were friendly and helpful. The menu was varied with excellent prices. All the dishes were delicious and well presented. Wine was reasonably priced as well. Fabulous, family atmosphere in the restaurant. Guitarist was also playing. I’d highly recommend this restaurant.

Lovely food and extremely good service from very friendly and attentive staff.

Busy and extremely noisy, couldn't hear each other speak. Ordered a drinks and 30 seconds later asked to change it but request refused. Food was OK, nothing more.

Lovely food, fantastic service and really friendly staff.

Food was really good but can’t say the same for the service. The booking asked if there was a special occasion to which I put celebrating engagement. Nothing was done for this so unsure why they ask if you’re celebrating anything special and they sat us on a table next to a loud party that had live music knowing we were celebrating when there were plenty of other tables free.

Visited Sorella for the first time on Saturday evening the restaurant was full however this didn't impact on the service which was excellent. The food was also of a high standard we all really enjoyed the evening and would recommend Sorrella.
