Gorgeous food, nice house wine. I've had lasagne twice; so good. Hubby's salmon pasta and Parma ham bruschetta were lovely. Only thing, the cushions we were sitting on had obviously been around for too long. Service good.

Lovey afternoon meal on a Sunday, with the added treat of a live singer. We have been many times over the years and although the food is lovely, the menu has not changed much so would be nice to see some more specials options.

Enjoyable meal, one of our group was disappointed after ordering Halibut to be told 10 minutes later that it wasn’t available! He changed to a seafood risotto which he enjoyed. The other 3 of us enjoyed our main course choices. Good service and ambiance, wines enjoyable so apart from the Halibut situation we had a nice experience at Sorella and will return.

Very noisy on a Friday and Saturday nights, food served too quickly, average cost for 3 course dinner excluding drinks..£50+. Menu needs a change and better explanations of food.

Disappointing. The majority of diners found food quite bland. This was a contrast to how i found the food the week before. The service was good though and the restaurant is nice.

The restaurant is stylish you could be in Italy. The staff friendly and service good. Both of us enjoyed our meal and wine. We will be back.

Excellent. Thoroughly enjoyed every course. We had bruschetta and mussels in white wine to start which was delicious. Mains, my wife had strips of fillet with pasta which was incredible. I had pizza with Parma ham. Amazing. The dough of the pizza was epic. Cookie dough and ice cream for dessert. Both great. Service was excellent; staff super friendly. Just a lovely place.

First visit to Sorella. Was not disappointed. The food was delicious, the service excellent and great value for money. Will definitely be back and will recommend it .

Fantastic food offering: gamberoni starters followed by a delicious halibut dish on the Special Menu. Excellent Gavi to accompany the fish.

Never been before but had heard nice things. Table for 3 booked in advance. Very busy and led to a table that was barely suitable for 2 in a room that resembled a corridor that looks out onto the high street. Noise levels unbearable due to a group of a dozen males next to our table. Couldn't converse in any way with partner and son due to the headache inducing voices within touching distance. No window open and was passing out with the heat. With hindsight should have asked to be seated elsewhere and if that couldn't be accomadated left. Meal time was overdue for our teenage son at least so would not have been able to leave and get seated elsewhere in any reasonable time so unfortunately weathered the noise, heat and cramped conditions. I was staring at a wall 3 feet in front for the duration. The food was lovely as was the waiter who perhaps seeing our discomfort over the time we were there gracefully declined a tip. Dining out is about much more than just the food and unfortunately we didn't enjoy our time there and felt like we had been sardined into the worst possible place to sit. It's a shame as other customers in more appropriate areas of the restaurant clearly were having a nice time.

I love this restaurant, the food is great and the service fantastic. Following our recent visit for my daughters birthday the staff came to the table singing happy birthday, which was lovely, buy I was surprised to see we were charged for the token tiramisu when we received the bill!

Food was delicious and generously portioned - we had the arancini and mussels to start and then the seabass and lamb pasta dishes for main with a side clear salad which was huge! The staff were very friendly and attentive. Service slightly slow but only because the restaurant was busy and it was nice not to feel rushed. The live singer was good although it was slightly hard to have a conversation with that and the noise of the restaurant generally. Overall we will definitely be back!
