We have been to Fat Loaf a number of times and have absolutely loved it every time. The quality of the food is amazing, the staff can’t do enough for you and the atmosphere is lovely. Would highly recommend and can’t wait to go back.

Food was on point, but quiet but it was a Sunday evening. Staff could’ve been a little more attentive as it was quiet and had to ask a couple of times for things. Overall a good job

Superb food and service as usual

It was a cold evening and the parsnip soup was just what was needed to start with. Piping hot and delicious. three of the four of us decided to have the roast turkey with all the trimmings; another good choice as all the trimmings were there not just one or two. The other person in our party had a steak and likes it well done which was done to perfection. The atmosphere was lovely with friendly helpful staff who were there when we needed them but not in your face and interrupting your meal. We found this restaurant to be comparable with others of the same standard and would recommend it to all who are in the area.

Always lovely food and service. A local gem

For the starter I had the croquettes and they and the steak was overcooked and the lamb fatty. It was busy but the service was poor slow and not attentive. I wanted to discuss the wine as it was too strong but the staff didn’t want to know. My partner told the staff it was my birthday but other than a shout of happy birthday with the waitresses back to me as we were leaving that was it. I’ve been a few times but it’s gone downhill. I’m

Once again exceptional food and service. Absolutely love The Far Loaf. The menu is always seasonal, always cooked to perfection. Staff are friendly and welcoming. How lucky we are to have this little gem.

What a delight! So lovely to have such a delicious place to eat so locally! Highly recommend. Staff very welcoming and pleasant. Menu offers something for everyone and all very tasty. Will definitely be back!

I cannot believe I havn't been here before. What a fantastic restaurant the atmosphere and the very friendly team. Food was top notch and deserts to die for. A great choice of beers and I had a gorgeous organic white. We most definitely will be returning.
