Literally the BEST Indian food I have ever eaten. Everything is made fresh and the chef comes to your table and asks about your preferences so he can cater the dish to your liking. Fantastic!

Zumar – Salequality foods plenty of variety on the menu . clean and tidy .the staff were pleasant and friendly the drinks were nicely chilled . prices are reasonable . just need a little more space its quite cramped . if you can cope with the little space you have then i would recommend a visit
Neel Paneer – Sale22nd May 2010 - I cannot recommend this restaurant enough. We had 21 people (including children) for a 60th Birthday party. Booked in advance and when we arrived we had a lovely seating area set out, air-conditioned as it was a sunny day, enough walking room for everybody. We were attended to by Matt who came and introduced himself and he didn't get any orders incorrect. All the food was served with little fuss, piping hot and enough breathing room between courses. We have been to this restaurant before (food and service has always been good) and from this many more people who I know will be going. Everybody commented on how they really appreciated the service - 5*'s from my family and I
Mersey Farm, The – SaleI've been going to Deckers in Sale for a long time and never had a problem or sent food back. Today for the first time I called our waitress over and nicely explained that the rare rump steak I ordered was overcooked and not rare. She took it back and before I knew it the Manager was over with the plate shoving his fingers at the steak shouting 'how much more rarer can you get it' Absolutely appalling behaviour, telling me it was rare then the lighting wasn't good enough to tell where I was sat and then decided it was a medium rare I wanted if I wanted the plate swimming with blood. Well no they'd given me a medium with no blood at all. Apart from draw attention to me he spoilt my meal, spoilt my mood and spoke to me like I was piece of rubbish and a complete idiot. As a result I'll never set foot in the place again. Not the best way to treat customers and as I was so appalled I put a full complaint in to the owners. Perhaps they could send him to lessons to teach him some manners. I don't know how I stayed so calm.
The Boathouse Restaurant – SaleHey there, I've been ordering from Sorento Pizzeria (In Ashton Village) for a while now. I have to say, it is an incredible takeaway! The service is friendly, the delivery time is almost always spot on and the food is the best fast food I've ever experienced. I would go as far to say that it is of restaurant quality, but delivered to your door. 10/10 for me!
Sorento Pizzeria – SaleAt first I was impressed with Planet Spice. They were honest about delivery times (1hr!) and on first impression, the food was good. Unfortunately, there happened to be hair in the food. We binned all remaining food except the contaminated dish and complained to the management. At first we were pleased with the professionalism of the management who were happy to issue a refund upon us returning the food. The manager called again shortly after to inform us they would not issue a refund, but offered a replacement (why on Earth would we eat again from their kitchen?!). They assured us that on the outcome of relevant tests, they would issue a refund on only the contaminated dish. We refused and will be taking this up with the relevant department at the Council. What a waste of £15. Don't order!
Planet Spice – Sale£1.80 for a half pint of orange cordial - 3 drinks £4.80 for the cordials = what a rip off - when I mentioned this the guy shrugged his shoulders = £1.80
Jitrada Thai Restaurant – SaleGreat offer - 2 for £22 will keep me coming back - 3 courses and a drink for 2 for only £22 + its not out of a microwave!!! really good fresh food - can't do better for the price. Great views over the lake especially on a sunny day. Would highly recommend
The Boathouse Restaurant – SaleUnfortunatly last night's meal for my mother's 70th birthday was a logistical disaster (Saturday 21 Feb 2009 @ 8pm. upstairs). The greeting by the Owner (Manager?) at the front door, preceded by another ladies family, (Joyce? and also there for a birthday party) was an initial good sign of a good night to come, such as we have experienced here in the past, hence our choice for Mum's 70th) but from arriving upstairs , things became progressivley worse, made all the more obvious by the Owner/Managers whole hearted devotion to the other party and diners in the upstairs restaurant.No- one bothered to show us to our table for 6, We ordered 6 drinks prior to ordering, which were then promptly forgotten until reminded despite an apology, a decanter of water took 20 mins to arrive, soup was already slopped into bowls, before a tureen arrived, duck was already shredded, whilst the other party had theirs done in a very demonstrative style, further drinks took forever to arrive.... and on and on. The final insult being the lack of serving of coffee whilst other people nearby were vastly entertained by the fella in charge with countless drinks/coffee/water and ultimately flaming zambukas, whilst we were ignored even coffee After 20 mins of this with taxi's due , we paid the bill and left, feeling extremely dissatisfied and unhappy. What should have been, and was anticipated, as a really good time was ruined by the utter indifference of the senior staff,. The Chinese waitress tried her best and apologised, but the young, inexperienced girl behind the upstairs bar was given no help, despite obviously struggling to cope with the demand and also at the beck and call of her boss. who seemed to be calling all the shots. Our parting glances were of him enjoying a pint of lager and a jolly good laugh with the rest of his customer/mates. We spent almost £180 and had a dismal experience and will never return. The place, despite it's evident popularity(or perhaps because of it) has become too complacent and lacks the urgency and vibrancy of a really good restaurant (ladies had no soap, gents loo mucky, chipped paintwork etc
Choy Hing Village – SaleThe starter was very good but both of our main courses although pleasant were far more Chinese tasting than Thai. I was told by the head waiter that it was no longer owned by the original Thai owners but now owned by a Chinese family. So if you like Chinese food more than Thai it has a good menu choice.
Jitrada Thai Restaurant – SaleThe food at this restaurant is fantastic! I tried it recently after it opened and have been back several time since, always delighted, never disappointed. If you like quality Indian food then you have to try!
Massala Lounge – SaleI have eaten here twice in the last few weeks and had a take away, food is excellent, so nice to have good food at a restaurant not in the city center!!
Jitrada Thai Restaurant – SaleAte here with eleven people between Christmas and New Year. Everybody, including myself, thought the food was top notch. I didn't have any myself but, the seabass seemed to be the most popular dish. I had the Vegetable Samosas and the Green Curry and they were both superb. Will definitely visit again soon.
Jitrada Thai Restaurant – SaleBest keep reviews simple Staff are very polite and on the ball. Restaurant is clean, nicely laid out. Food is spot on! Probably the best your going to get in the Manchester area. I would be shocked if you went away from this place unhappy. Russ / Fiona & Finlay
Choy Hing Village – SaleReally good night out. The food is pretty good. I can't fault the service - friendly and efficient. The bar staff have a great knowledge of cocktails and can make anything you ask for.
TGI Fridays – SaleWe visit the Jitrada on a fairly regular basis (from Rochdale) and are never disappointed. We take our two children (ages 2 and 12) and they really enjoy the food and the ambiance. My little one especially likes crossing the bridge and looking at the fish! The food is always delicious and the staff always friendly and attentive. Now that it is no smoking, it is even nicer! Recommended.
Jitrada Thai Restaurant – SaleStill our fave Chinese - we've been going for 6 years now. We're always accommodated even when they are busy & we haven't booked. Staff are friendly as ever - will do your order as you want. Nice rose wine. We're taking a party of 10 there tonight. Cant wait!
Choy Hing Village – SaleHave ate here several times with family and not been disappointed at any of our visits. Generally have mixed starter - ribs are to die for!! All our varied main courses have been excellent. All the staff are lovely, especially with our younger child, they really cant do enough for you. Surroundings are nice and the entrance is a bridge over a fish pond - lovely and authentic. Went last saturday there again this weekend its sooo good! This restaurant is a credit to thai cuisine - enjoy!
