Three Feathers – SheffieldWent yesterday after reading the glowing review in the Telegraph. It matched my expectations (for once). Prompt efficient knowledgeable service and the food was so good I'm still thinking about it today! Portions were quite large so brought a doggy bag....can't wait till lunch to attack the fridge (hurrah for working from home)!
Ashoka Indian Restaurant – SheffieldTried this for the first time last weekend and was pleasantly surprised. The service was fast, the drinks were bottomless, the mango and lime chicken pitta was delicious and the garlic bread was wonderfully crunchy. Definitely will come again.
Nando’s – SheffieldCompletely delicious food in a relaxed setting served by very friendly accommodating staff, would highly recommend this restaurant.

BBs Italian Restaurant – SheffieldWe visited your restaurant on ths 2nd jan 2012, for a birthday my boyfriend and i and would like to comment on the waiter called Damian he was wonderful and made our night memorable and fantastic and can't recomend him enough thank you so much.
Damons – SheffieldI visited this restaurant a couple of weeks ago on a week night. The restaurant was quiet as it was early, but i prefer it that way. The restaurant is decorated to a very high standard. The part of the kitchen i could see from my seat, it looked spotless ( im an ex chef so always try and spy in the kitchen!) The menu is huge, lots of variety and the majority of the curries had names i had never heard of each section of the menu tells a little story of where that particular curry originated from and how its cooked which i found very interesting. They did still have the usual Tikka, Bhuna, Korma for the less adventurous. We had 2 bottles of wine, poppadoms, 2 mains and 2 rice and the bill was about £60 so very good value for money in my opinion. I had one of the Chefs Specials, it was a Lamb dish but i cant recall the name as it was one i had not heard of before but it was delicious. It was fruity, spicy but not overpowering and the lamb just melted in my mouth. I plan to return very soon and would strongly recommend this restaurant to anyone.
Bay Of Bengal – Sheffieldhttp://www.writespirit.net The aim of life is to live a divine life. We are living in this world. We know that man does not live by bread alone. He needs the soul in order to live in the world of God's Reality. The soul alone has the capacity to see and feel the known and the Unknown, the existent and the non-existent, the dream of the past, the achievement of the present and the hope of the future.
BBs Italian Restaurant – SheffieldI recently ate with my family at your restaurant (Damons) in Sheffield. I am writing to say how very disappointed I was. Before I tell you of my awful experience, I would like to say that the staff were very pleasant, efficient and that the service on their part was exceptional. Not the same case unfortunately for company hierarchy and food quality standards. I was disgusted and quite honestly, insulted, that I was served my food on a plastic plate! This would have been acceptable had I been 40,000ft in the air on a jumbo jet where weight makes all the difference but in a restaurant, unbelievable! Although I was quite pleasantly surprised I had cutlery made from metal. Bonus! I am unhappy with the way the restaurant is advertised and priced, as a "fine dining restaurant". This is wholly untrue and a gross case of false advertisement. Never before in any restaurant anywhere in the 17 countries I have travelled too, have I ever been served "smash" (fake mashed potato) = unacceptable. You also claim to give "generous portions", would you consider 11 chips with my mother's steak generous? Id like to inform you that I have had more "generous" portions of chips in third world countries like Uzbekistan, Somalia and Malawi. My whole family were very unhappy with their meals. The manager didn't have anything to say in defence for the smash and food quality, as he pointed out he could only make best of the situation that he has been selfishly put in. He didnâ??t try to make excuses for the rubbish that was placed before us; he was very honest and accommodating and did all he could. The gentleman is a credit to your company. He gave us a 20% discount which was all he could do at the time. Overall despite the discount and the fact that it is barely over an hour's time in wages for me, I still feel cheated that I had to pay a £73 food bill. (after 20% compensation) I am completely disgusted with our very unpleasant "dining experience" at your restaurant A very unsatisfied customer

Thai at the Travellers – SheffieldI received the La Romantica red wine as a gift,This is the best wine!!!! I loved it!!! Thank you for having such a great wine, I learned it was purchased through schunks and it is great!!!!
La Romantica – SheffieldOverpriced junk food.
Damons – SheffieldI won't gloss over the facts, I'll just give them to you straight! Booked a table for eight, including a toddler. The receptionist was cold, never greeted us and referred to our child as ''The Kid'' - such as.....Does the kid want a high chair etc. Not a good first impression. The high chair provided was dirty and caked in old food, this had to be wiped down by ourselves before it could be used. My husband asked if the onion soup was clear or thick...The answer from our server was that she didn't know, but it did have onions in it! The soft drinks were priced very high. A small glass of cola was £2.00 having ice a third of the glass! The food for our child was served on a plate so hot we had to put it onto side plates! Where's H&S here! I ordered a steak rare, it came very well done and was stuck to the plate along with the shriveled pea's(Obviously it had been placed under the lights to keep warm) I ordered a salad and got lettuce, half a tomato and two rings of onion..... The steak went back and was replaced with a steak that I couldn't eat as it had arteries running through it....It was supposed to be prime 'Rose Rump'....never the less our dog enjoyed it! The mash potatoes were disgusting, solid, cold and tasting powdery...they were left along with the hard pea's. We were never asked if we had found the service and food good, only the manager asked if my steak (Once it had been replaced) was cooked as I liked it, and it was except I couldn't eat it, if she had asked if it was to my satisfaction, I think booth barrels would have gone off! Seeing I asked for the steak to be put in to a doggy bag, should, I would have thought, prompted someone to ask why I had left it! I asked for a tia maria coffee and got an irish coffee and all the coffee's were cold. There were no condiments on the table, and I had to go and ask for some at the service area, then I saw into the kitchens and for legal reasons I shall ommit this information, save to say that we shall never, ever eat at this restaurant again. In all we spent over £170 on a meal not fit for purpose, it was a complete and utter unforgettable experience, and in our view there are more pleasant experiences to be had in Sheffield. Don't waste your money, nor time, unless, of course the service etc improves. NOT child friendly neither is it suitable for doing business/entertaining clients etc.

Kitos Restaurant – SheffieldThis is fantastic food at an excellent price. We go every Friday but went on a 'one off 'Thursday instead and It was obvious the food had been cooked by a different chef and it wasn't as good as usual.
