I had the loveliest time at tabby teas! Me and my boyfriend were created at the door and given info about the cats, the staff couldn’t have been more friendly, it was a lovely experience and we could tell the cats were well looked after and well loved! I will be back soon I hope!
Tabby Teas – SheffieldI loved every minute of my first visit to Tabby teas! As a hardcore cat lover it was heart warming to see the cats in a happy and relaxed environment that they call their home. The bakes and hot drinks were delicious and the staff were very friendly and clearly loved been around the cats. Cubana Tapas Bar – SheffieldGreat food! Wicker St. has a number of Indian takeaways and sitins. I went to kebabish the first time with an Indian friend because everywhere else looked deathly quiet, but Kebabish seemed quite full. Good move! First thing my Indian friend said was that there were things on the menu he'd never seen outside of India. I was staying at a nearby hotel and liked the food so much it's the only place I've eaten. Portion sizes are good, have a starter and a main and you might struggle to finish it.My favourite is the chicken kebabs to start with (you get 4 and they come with a nice fresh salad) and Shahi Haleem - a dish made of lentils and minced lamb all blended to a thick sauce. The spicy version is well hot, really tasty. I've had other things there, tandoori chicken, masala fish, a few of the curries. The naans are good, in fact there's nothing I don't like about the place.
Kebabish – SheffieldAwful, avoid. Ordered item (£7 value at that, not cheap!) didn't come; we got called liars when we called to complain and the guy refused to issue any kind of refund. He said delivering a new item would cost us money and would take half an hour. Terrible, terrible service, avoid at all costs.

Wharncliffe, The – SheffieldFantastic restaurant we have been to the Lincoln and Liverpool ones as well, we find the one at Sheffield the best really. Really great staff warm and welcome can't do enough for you, and once when we were their the owner was there trying some new steak and gave me and my husband some to try. He was a very nice man, so that's why he has very nice staff.

Chaobaby Thai Restaurant – SheffieldExcellent food, lovely atmosphere, fantastic choice for vegetarians. It's major problem is the very over-priced drinks. I think £7.50 was the cheapest white wine per glass I could find. This will kill the whole 'ladies that lunch' brigade, because the wine per glass is so expensive, it does not warrant a 4* restaurant tag. Please management review this or eventually after all have tried your restaurant they will go elsewhere despite the nice food. Drink is a major factor of where to go when you go out, a mediocre quality wine does not cost £35 (cheapest one) a bottle, unless you're in London in a restaurant and then you expect to pay these prices, you are neither in London nor in a high quality area, the roundabout does not make for a good position, but good food, and reasonably priced wine will attract people, despite that, also no parking!

Brendas Traditional Fish and Chips – SheffieldHave now been 3 times to sit down and one as a take away. The food is superb, probably one of the best in Sheffield. On the occasion when we have gone early and they are not busy the service has been good. On the two occasions when they were busy the service was unfortunately poor. They needed someone on front of house who could be more attentive, on the ball with drinks and keeping people appraised of any delays. It is a new restaurant so I am sure this will improve in time. Fortunately the food is that good so we will keep going back.
