Having been brought up in Bradford and experienced many a curry I can categorically say that this is THE BEST curry house anywhere in Yorkshire. Try for yourself and find out!

We booked on Fri 8 December & managed to get a table for 4 for half an hour later. On arrival the restaurant was very busy & the atmosphere was buzzing. I think the building, a former bank with very high ceilings added to the atmosphere, as it was slightly echoey. Although very busy, the service was good and staff friendly. There was quite a bit of table moving going on throughout the evening, which was a bit distracting, but maybe this was to accommodate some of the larger Christmas parties booked in. The food was very good. The two teenagers had pizzas and the adults had steaks. The steaks were cooked to our individual requirements as it should be, and was of very good quality - the sauces we both had were good. Portions were of a good size. Our daughter and her friend had the chocolate fudge cake to finish, which they both thought was the best they had had, and not as sticky & sickly as it sometimes can be. It had tiny pieces of fudge in - portions were of a good size for those with a large appetite. We had the house wine, which was good and very well priced. Cost of food was slightly higher than you normally get in your average Italian restaurant, but quality was good and therefore good value for money. Don't know when we'll be back as we were just in Sheffield for the weekend, but would certainly recommend Rossi's, and we would visit again if ever back in Sheffield.

We have been here a couple of times and can't recommend it enough, can't wait to go back again! Best place around for miles! Try it if you haven't already, you will be over the moon !!!!

My First visit to butlers never turned to be the last infact it is so good that i been a regular for years worth tasting the freshness of food and the curries are so good that it has to be tasted to be appreciated. Not many restaurants do Tandoori lamb ben to many restaurants the lamb chops are out in a few minutes. But in butlers might take ten minutes but you can tell its fresh not just heated up like in a lot of restaurants.

I think Papa Ciccio is one of the best restaurant in Sheffield they serve very good Italian food I really like to be there

I reserved two tables for between 12-20 people, the landlady was very helpful. As we waited for our meal we all commented on how good the place is. Very cosy and welcoming, and the pint I drank was the best I have tasted in a while. The meal we all had was of a good mixture, which was no problem for the landlady and her team. Well done "The Abbey"

I have been going to the Samad Cottage since 1988 The food has always been authentic Indian cuisine the cooking smells as you walk up the road will lead you to a superb restaurant which I'm sure you will go back to, as I have time and time again.

Originally a take away only, the proprietor Mr Azad Mohamed was urged by his ever growing and impressed clientele to open a restaurant, which he duly did 'for bookings only' and has since opened without the need to book in advance, due to public demand. Azad has a wealth of culinary experience, creating a diverse, delicious and authentic array of dishes from the sub-continent. I have sampled Indian food the world over and this is some of the best I've eaten! the bonus for me is that it's only 3 miles from my home!! Well worth a visit or take away!!

Great place. A really authentic Thai meal which makes a change, in a lovely setting. I'd recommend the set menus especially C and D

We had our wedding reception here and i'm hoping to book a joint 40th and 60th birthday for me and my mum next year. the attention to detail and the warm welcome was perfect.

A large group of us went here for a birthday. whilst the food was not outstanding, it was good enough because the atmosphere carried the night along. we had a great laugh and numerous tasty cocktails. defo advised

This is a great little restaurant with authentic Italian flavour. There is always a good selections of specials and Mon -Thurs it does BYO.

I consider this to be the best Chinese around the s25 area- highly recommended!
