Called in on the off chance , the food was lovely I had pie of the day, nice veg , mash was abit solid, nothing some gravy didn't sort.. My partner had fillet steak , home cut chips ,was amazing nice steak ,cooked right.. definitely going again.. The lad behind the bar was friendly .polite , nothing was to much bother Nice country pub

The Bull – ShrewsburyThe restaurant was lovely, food very nice and staff member that was on was very friendly, the only complaint was the wait. We arrived at 6:30 and didn't get our mains until 8pm. We was told there was a technical issue in the kitchen however customers that arrived after us still received their food before us. Again, lovely food but the wait was a bit ridiculous.

Only issue was the chicken roast didn’t state it came with stuffing so I paid to have extra and then it came twice.. and it also didn’t state that it had apricot in it so it wasn’t to my taste so I had two portions of stuffing I couldn’t eat. Other than that lovely roast. Maybe include a small pot of gravy for the table if getting roasts as runs out quite quickly :)
The Tilley Raven – ShrewsburyCannot praise enough. Arrived and shown to our table but very noisy group in the restaurant. Asked to move outside no problem. Staff were so friendly & really lovely. And the food was amazing. We will definitely return. The whole visit was just fab.
