Pre theatre dinner. It was a night of horrendous rain and wind, my friend driving down from Camberley was delayed. The staff were so friendly and helpful, even covered the dinner with foil to keep it warm. Service was excellent, food was delicious. I was only sad to see how shocked the waitress was when she saw we had left a tip. She was so grateful. Seems there aren’t many that show their appreciation. I’d certainly dine there again.

We stopped in for a casual meal before going to the theatre. Our table of 3 had fish and chips and burgers. All the food was really fresh, tasty and generous portions. The bar had difficulties with their gas dispenser for my soda but the bar tender went above and beyond to ensure I received a good wine spritzer. The venue has recently been refurbished, facilities were clean and we will definitely be back.

Fab meal here on Wed before a trip to the theatre. The burger was amazing and my son's pizza was perfectly cooked. Highly recommended

We definitely would come back again, All the staff were lovely. Food was amazing and the atmosphere was great! Went out of their way and brought a cake out for my child’s birthday.. Would most certainly recommend!!!!

Our pre-theatre meal was delicious and well presented. The service was friendly and efficient, and the food arrived in good time so that we were not at all rushed. The modern decor and lighting created a relaxed atmosphere, and we had a very enjoyable evening. We would definitely return.

Yet again .....Great food ......Beer ......and music Perfect Sunday Roast especially the Roast Pie

Loved the place - great music, vibe and lovely staff- we had a few drinks and then had a fantastic dinner- huge portions made with love! We’ll be back for sure!

We had a delicious meal at The Quarter Lounge yesterday evening before going to watch a show. We has booked a table, but were stuck in traffic so I phoned to advise that we would be 15 minutes late and this was not a problem. The staff were all so helpful. We were served quickly and all 4 dishes were delicious and hot. The staff are clearly adept at serving the pre show rush of customers and there is a lovely ambience as well. I would definitely recommend!

Booked a couple of days ahead for a group of 6 pre-theatre. Food and service were really good. Tasty, fresh food and friendly, efficient service. The menu had some standard dishes and some original ideas aal of which we tried and enjoyed. Next time we come to the theatre, we will try and book in here first!

Booked at late notice before going to see the lion king at the mayflower. I was worried about what kind of place it was going to be but was blown away when I walked through the door. It’s clean, well-decorated and the staff were really helpful and a good laugh. The service was really quick too - about 10/15 minutes from ordering to eating. I had a house burger and the meat was perfect. I cannot recommend this place enough and I plan to go back the next time I’m in southampton.

Food was great, but service was really slow! One waitress serving 6 tables. Mains came when finished starters still on table, as nobody to clear plates Then no one cleared mains from table for 45 mins. We had to go for table to be cleared and for more drinks and desert menu at bar. Need more servers. Only other comment is plastic wired chairs are really uncomfortable too!!!

Visited pre theatre. Chair was uncomfortable and they offered me a cushion. Service was great and the waiter was friendly. Food very tasty, great fish and chips. Would definitely go again when visiting the Mayflower theatre in Southampton. If going to a show get there early as gets very busy and then the service slows down.

Food was lovely but carbonara portion size was a little on the small size. Fish and chips were lovely and my daughter enjoyed her pizza. Service and times were fine.
