A birthday meal with one of my children and his partner, My first visit for over 10 years, I only live 5 minute walk away and go past it most days and the lady who lives next door eats there at least once a week. I eat out often, but for some unknown reason it is always off my radar. We ate at 630pm this Wednesday, it was not full, nor was it empty and a nice atmosphere. We all just had a pizza for a one course meal and the portions were so large we only just got through them and were glad we did not have starters or entertain sweets and finished off with coffees. The food was of the highest standard, the staff were very attentive and friendly. It will most certainly be back on my radar and another visit is planned soon.

We've waited a long time for this. At last restrictions eased and we returned for our wedding anniversary meal. We were not disappointed. Just so nice to go to a buzzing happy restaurant where the staff all welcome you and the food is as good as anywhere in Southport. Makes a great change from eating at home. What a lift to our spirits. Non of this over fussy regulations that some places still have. Food was as good as it always was. Service is great, and a special thanks to Sandro for the Amorettos to toast our celebration. Will we go again? we have already booked.

our meal was more enjoyable considering there was 6 of us and at a early time All the staff that was present made us feel like there was only 2 All the starters came on time and all together and prompt I’m not saying I’m a small eater nor my grandson but both of us could not complete our main coarse as we felt full on flavour I wish I could say that about other restaurants I have no complaints at all on the standard of our meals and more so the quality Well done Dolce Vita to a really enjoyable family meal More of the same soon

In my prior review of Dolce Vita I did not give full marks on atmosphere the reason being my meal was at 5-30 and we were the only people in there at that time Sorry full marks from other nights we have been there Go for it you won’t be disappointed

We had a family meal last night and the food was fabulous, as was the service. The ambiance was good too. We will definitely return soon. I have recommended this restaurant to family and friends.

Took my Grandma here for a meal and she had such a lovely evening. The food was yummy and the servers were great, thank you :)

I invited three of my friends to lunch. They were all familiar with the restaurant with one friend being a regular diner. Italian style food is one of my favourites and I wasn't disappointed. The food was very tasty, well cooked and well presented. The staff were friendly and efficient . Atmosphere was difficult to judge because the quiet time of day but we made up for it! Will most definitely be booking again in the near future!

Visited Dolce Vita on Thursday 22nd July, possibly the hottest day ever to be greeted by very friendly and courteous staff. Meal was gorgeous. We had Southport Brown Shrimp on toast followed by Seabass. Husband had a Tiramisu and said it was gorgeous. We live in Leeds and everytime we visit Southport we try and make a visit to this absolute gem. I hope the residents of Ainsdale are appreciative of what is on their doorstep. We will be back. Thanks again.

First time eating at Dolce Vita.Staff were so friendly from the off but never intrusive. Restaurant was nicely decorated and seats comfy. The food was absolutely excellent,there was nothing to fault whatsoever.We had the two courses and both were amazing.We even partook of dessert which again was scrumptious.We`ll definitely be returning soon.

What an incredible find this restaurant was. Lovely decor and very friendly staff. We had the Sunday Roast and yes I know it’s an Italian but the Roast Beef was the tenderest that we have ever eaten. It was divine. Will definitely go back!

Best meal we have had since moving here 4 years ago ! Service was amazing and jovial.Just sorry we had not come here before..will definitely recommend and will be revisiting very soon.We ate from the a la cart menu and could not fault it..absolutely fantastic.
