Such an amazing and beautiful place, my partner and I wanted to try out roasts in Portsmouth but we haven’t looked any further since finding The Florence Arms, the servers are lovely and the food is incredible! Look forward to going back there very soon!

utterly delicious

Brilliant gem for Sunday lunch. Each one of our party (of 6) loved their roasts, (we had them all, chicken, pork, beef and the veggie wellington) along with top notch cauliflower cheese, a must and no issues requesting additional gravy. Exceptionally good service and we will definitely be back. Thank you.

Slightly limited menu for Sunday lunch as far as starters go, but very tasty mains and desserts…good value and nice atmosphere!

Very nice restaurant with friendly service staff. We had Egg,Ham & chips and a burger & chips. Food was tasty and prices were reasonable. Enjoyed the ambience.

Delicious home cooked food, with a considered menu. Great atmosphere with a lovely welcome and service. Thoroughly recommend the ham, egg and chips - a simple classic made with brilliant ingredients and elevated!

Delicious Sunday roast! All the components were beautifully cooked and so tasty. Definitely order the cauliflower cheese side - it's amazing. Charming service and dog-friendly, too.

Decent food, good service...but a little pricey. Starters of potato skins and belly pork pieces excellent. All of our mains very good. But £35 per head...which only included a few drinks was rather expensive. I think the drinks are overpriced.

Sunday carvery is lovely! Roast spuds to die for!!

Looked for a nice Monday night meal...and found it ! Warm character décor, very good service and a high standard quality meal with a good wine selection. Really enjoyable eating restaurant, you must try.

On entering restaurant found it to be very clean,pleasant and very well laid tables.The food was of high quality. You could taste the flavours and the presentation of the dishes was excellent. Ihad a glass of red wine with my meal,which wasn't expesive and a good quality. The toilets were very clean and presentable. Overall the meal and exemplarary service was a delight. Highly recommended.
