Lunch stop Sunday afternoon 19th May. Food all fine. Service good and staff were engaging. Tables were cleared and cleaned which seems to be a lost art nowadays. All as expected, did the job.

The Kitchen – SpaldingThey catered for 16 of us to celebrate husbands birthday Very pleased with the service and food
The Kitchen – SpaldingBooked table for 4 persons after our last visit meal atmosphere was brilliant but this time was not so good we all had burgers, mine i had black and blue supposed to have stilton through it there was none and the chips were awful no side garnish and for the price not worth it only good thing was the onion rings as a side i ordered, wife had the goat cheese burger very disappointing also, we bought 2 of our friends with us also had burgers all had no side garnish ! we told them how the food was good but was let down this time badly terrible !! we come to Springfields quite a lot but don't think we will come to " The Kitchen " again very disappointing.
The Kitchen – SpaldingExcellent service from very attentive staff. My friend and I had lunch on a busy Saturday around 1 o’clock. We thoroughly enjoyed the food and our waiter and waitress were friendly and helpful. Carry on the good work.
The Kitchen – SpaldingI took my mum and family members to The Kitchen on Mothers Day. We and all other customers were in one corner of the restaurant. Unfortunately there was a family with VERY noisy children on the table next to us, which really spoilt the atmosphere as we could'nt hear each other talking. The food was not good, the vegatables were hard. The potatoes were barely able to be cut they were so hard from being overheated. The meat was nice. We had to keep calling the waitress back because she did'nt listen properly when we was asking for extra gravy etc. All in all not a great experience. Which was very bad especially as it was Mothers Day.
The Kitchen – SpaldingVery long time waiting for our order to be taken. The food came out quickly but some of our order was missing, then arrived after we had finished the meal. The table took ages to be cleared and waited over 15 minutes for our bill to be brought over.
The Kitchen – SpaldingEnjoyed an early evening meal at The Kitchen on Friday 23rd Feb. Group of 3 which included an elderly relative. Nice round table. Due to staff shortages, (kitchen and front of house), the restaurant was having to close early, however, this did not impact us at all. The staff were welcoming, cheerful and attentive. I hope the management team will recognise their staff on duty this particular evening.
The Kitchen – SpaldingIt was a lovely meal.MY son ordered a mix grill but the chicken was too dry so he complained about it

The Kitchen – SpaldingI was a little disappointed with the menu; all meat and no fish. I feel restaurants are catering for vegans rather than vegetarians these days. I had to ask for an adult version of the scampi and chips on the kids menu. The waitress had to ask the chef if that was ok! The only other option for me was vegetable spring rolls! Very poor. However, the rest of the family enjoyed their roast dinner.
The Kitchen – SpaldingGreat food as always.... Service a little slow this time.
The Kitchen – SpaldingWe had a fabulous Sunday Lunch at the Kitchen yesterday Staff were friendly and the service was quick even though they were quite busy The only issue we had was that we asked for Diet Coke but when we got it it was nasty supermarket cola (we subsequently noticed on the menu that it ws advertised as Cola ) We did feel that as we had requested Diet Coke (and Diet Coke is sold by the bottle on the menu) we should have been brought Diet Coke or at least given a choice Overall apart from that though - Very good and we will certainly go back
The Kitchen – SpaldingWe had a lovely meal but the service wasn't great unfortunately. Had to wait quite a while for our order to be taken and then had to wait further for our drinks to be brought to the table. It wasn't particularly busy so it was disappointing. The food however was really hot when it came and very taste.
The Kitchen – SpaldingAll three of us loved our meals and ate everything on our plates! Service excellent and staff helpful and friendly. We are regular customers and had booked, but the table we were given was in the centre of the restaurant this time and not so great. It was in line with the main doors so was draughty...we put our coats back on! Also it was noisier as we were surrounded by chatter. It didn't feel cosy. I think we would ask for a different table another time. Otherwise it was very good.
The Kitchen – SpaldingCame for a treat to Celebrate with family and a friend. Had booked. Had to wait a little while for front of house as they were all out the back behind the bar. However once seated our service was very good. Food was very nice, hot and plenty of it. Compliments to the chefs. The restaurant was a little cold, fine for me but my elderly mother had to keep her coat on and was shivering. Air was blowing right over us, not sure why it needed to be on in January! Sort out front of house and turn the heating up and then it would be perfect!
The Kitchen – SpaldingLovely meal out with my son, brilliant service by all staff. Very friendly and loved the 90s music they where playing.
The Kitchen – SpaldingGood wholesome traditional Sunday lunch, tasty, and at a reasonable price. Service a little slow, but the restaurant was busy. The only negative is it was very noisy due to some customers holding conversations at the top of their voices. Otherwise the premises were clean, welcoming and tables well spaced. Will go there again.
The Kitchen – SpaldingAnother lovely meal at the kitchen. We all chose the triple roast of 3 meats and perfectly cooked vegetables- great value for money and really tasty. As usual, the staff were friendly and helpful.
