Friendly, efficient & helpful staff. Good menu selection & the food was well prepared & delicious. Perfectly cooked steak & duck. We had a lovely cocktail too.

We had a lovely afternoon celebrating my mum's 92nd birthday, the table was ready for us when we arrived and the food was delicious. Staff were attentive and caring. Thank you for making the afternoon a real treat for mum.

We had a lovely Valentine's night again yesterday. The food was superb, I have dietary restrictions and the staff were terrific in providing what I needed. Our little Poodle Fido was welcomed and went to sleep in corner, overall we had a great night. We've been coming here for years since it Jack's and had our wedding breakfast here...all afternoon! No 54 have kept up the atmosphere and craic and we always enjoy the experience. A great place to eat!

Went on valentines evening for our first visit. Restaurant was busy, but had a relaxed atmosphere. Food was amazing, freshly cooked and very tasty. If you like tapas then you must pay this Restaurant a visit. Staff were friendly and polite and there was also a singer to serenade diners. We will definitely return again.

The food was average at best. The Pulled Pork had hardly any pork, mostly potatoes. Service was poor . Very disappointing and we won’t be returning. Such a shame as it used to be exceptional.

We were ever so impressed with our lunch at Fifty Four. Our waitress was really lovely and spent time suggesting the right mocktail to suit. The food was all very nice (with a large menu to choose from) and the lemon tart especially was heavenly.

A lovely (not inexpensive) lunch, great food and modern, warm atmosphere but..,......what a crying shame that the staff had no clue how to properly manage a justified complaint / feedback. We found a piece of metal scourer in our patatas bravas. Not great but these things happen and was undisputed. We are pretty chilled about such things but also great believers that if a problem is handled well, you can create a lot of goodwill and make customers feel well looked after if the situation is properly acknowledged. There was an offer of replacement but that was completely unnecessary and somewhat missed the point. If it were down to me I would have taken it off the bill, perhaps a drink on the house - all good......but no. Instead send the poor junior staff member to face the music, don't come and discuss with us, take £1.50 off the bill (seriously????) and once we had paid the bill, insult us by telling us we just didn't get it!!! We wouldn't have written a review like this if the situation had been handled properly but that is the current state of customer service sadly. No one gives a monkeys.

Lovely afternoon tea for a very dear friend who was 90 with her granddaughter. I was really impressed how modern the brassiere coast is nicely furnished and decorated . I am going to go again for Sunday lunch with my family

A lovely gem of a restaurant. Dog friendly too! Went to celebrate my 60 th birthday! A lovely intimate place with amazing staff and delicious food . Everything was perfect but it was quite cold so in winter wrap up! Just loved the evening though and would definitely return in warmer weather.

Arrived for the meal to find the restaurant closed. This happened on a previous occasion, again with no explanation. Also on another occasion I received a phone call 30 minutes before we were due at the restaurant to say that the chef was ill and they would have to cancel. The food and service is very good when they decide to open but I will never go there again. I know other people that have had the same problem. They are getting a bad reputation.

10/10, all of it.

Lovely food great service and best of all our dogs are allowed

Food and service were fab. Highly recommended. Been coming here for years and it’s always great. However, the restaurant was really cold. We asked for the fire to be lit but were told it wasn’t possible. The heaters that were on were ineffectual and people kept leaving the door open. Unfortunately this did effect the enjoyment of our meal
