Arrived for the meal to find the restaurant closed. This happened on a previous occasion, again with no explanation. Also on another occasion I received a phone call 30 minutes before we were due at the restaurant to say that the chef was ill and they would have to cancel. The food and service is very good when they decide to open but I will never go there again. I know other people that have had the same problem. They are getting a bad reputation.

Lovely food great service and best of all our dogs are allowed

Food and service were fab. Highly recommended. Been coming here for years and it’s always great. However, the restaurant was really cold. We asked for the fire to be lit but were told it wasn’t possible. The heaters that were on were ineffectual and people kept leaving the door open. Unfortunately this did effect the enjoyment of our meal

What a little gem of a place! Food was fantastic and what a lovely surroundings. Definitely visiting again soon.

Another terrific meal! We've been coming here since it was called " Jack's " and eat there regularly, there were 4 of us ad our Toy Poodle Fido. The Goulash was delicious, as were the mussels, fast and friendly service and lovely atmosphere!

What a great evening. 7 of us celebrating Christmas. 2 of us had burgers and one a mac and cheese, delicious. 4 had the small plates. 11 in total. Everything was eaten and enjoyed. Had prosecco and cocktails, again very good. Fab service and impressed at the care taken for one of the group who has an allergy.

After excellent reviews we decided to visit and were not disappointed. The food is superb, as was the service and the ambiance. We would recommend without reservation.

Hadn’t read anything about Fifty Four, so booked it just to try it out, so glad we did. The place is lovely, staff friendly and polite. Now to the food, it was delicious so tasty and plentiful. No doubt about it, we’ll definitely be back

First visit to the Coast restaurant despite living in st annes 46 years ! First impressions were very positive, the hotel & restaurant are presented to a very high standard. Decor & furnishings are beautifully done. Four of us ate from the Sunday Lunch menu. All meats were perfectly done and thought put into preparation of vegetables - cauliflower cheese was gorgeous. Only slightly dissapointing aspect was roast potatoes were a little over cooked making them extremely hard to cut through! Service was excellent and staff were cheerful and informative.

We did bottomless brunch this weekend and it was great! The food options were good and it was delicious! Served hot and fresh. The drinks arrived quickly so it was very rare we had an empty glass. Staff were friendly and happy to help with taxis at the end. The restaurant is decorated lovely and everything was clean.

We had the Sunday lunch and we both really enjoyed it. In fact both of us ate everything on both plates! The food was good and plenty of it. The service was friendly and fast. Prices very fair. It certainly it the spot for us. Highly recommended.
